Well, it can't really be helped with this kind of genre. Death will always exist.

We see more than one time in vol 1 how much she means for him. Just how many time he look toward his left hand? Why he was broken for a while in vol 1 that claire have to wake him up?

You see Kamito really cant handle BOTH Est and Restia...
I think Est sends out uber bad vibes to restia and vice versa...

Ok, here's my views.

Restia and Est MUST be voiced by kaori Ishihara (Reki from HnA) and Yui Ogura (Alice from memochou). Both can voice lively and both can go stoic.

And, if we are lucky, then maybe I can get another YuiKaori single as an op/ed song.

Which KINDS of make sense especially if Kamito cares for both Restia and Est and both spirits care for him.

I'd have Ishihara for Est and Ogura for Restia.

Depends what you mean by that. he don't need her for figth? he don't need her in his life?Because from what I see in vol 1 and some spoiler he sure miss her or suffer a great deal because all this.

Kira is saying Est is doing a dayam good job alone in helping kamito progress in the story.
Even tho she is Cap'd at 10% she isnt the bottleneck.
Kamito himself is still the bottleneck.

He did miss her, but AFAIK, he didn't ditch everyone else to chase after her. Est and the girls take care of the fights and his life.

Believe it or not ,I do. That's why I say would be good for him if Restia is back with him (at least from what i see from him).

The truth is, there's more to the relationship between Kamito and Restia.

Back when Kamito was still at the convent, Restia was the existence that humanised him. She was also his teacher in different matters--in terms of combat , information in regards to the outside world. Originally, Kamito was this haughty, cruel child--not much different from his 'osananajimis'. And because of Restia's way of treating him, he was humanised, and he always regard Restia as his 'saviour'.

Therefore if she really died and he doesn't show a shred of tear--I'm gonna gut him and send his privates to the dogs.

Actually, they were already thrown out of sync because of one another. Because Restia's contract still exist, Est was not able to use her full strength.

She gave the boy, who had closed his heart into a cold cage, a warm light –
“…Res…tia?”

His former contracted spirit.
The girl showed Kamito, who lost the human heart, his first warm light.

And that's why I more and more interested to know about their past and their relationship.
