The episode was ok for a finale, I just made the mistake of watching it after reading Rebirth #1 which, as a Flash story, blows the season finale out of the water.

Well, Barry's gone and made such a huge change that I can't predict anything at all, especially since the rules of time travel and paradoxes still aren't clear. I'll agree that this will probably be undone in a midseason crossover, in such a way to incorporate in Supergirl somehow (how would time travel merge Earth-1 to hers? Will they use that magnetar thing?).

That thing with locking up Barry and the rest of the team facing Zoom alone was amazingly stupid. Yes, Barry was angry. So what? Despite being impulsive, he knows the importance of a plan, and knowing about the magnetar would have come up with something, just as he ended up doing in the end. As for the magnetar, it was from Mercury Labs, so where was Dr. Mcgee? The team should have consulted with her.

I had problems with the "Trap in the Speed Force" episode because I felt that Barry's hang ups with his mother's death came out of nowhere... Now, I have even more problems with that that episode since the finale made its resolution pointless.

Ok, i'm confuse of what a Time Remnant is.
Is is some kind of Shadow Clone jutsu thing for Speedsters or something about taking part of the past?

So the finale will lead a Flashpoint storyline and possibly incorporating Supergirl into the Arrowverse.

I would find it funny if the Flashpoint here actually changes the Arrowverse after it gets resolved because it would have come out exactly a day before the comics revealed that Flashpoint didn't crate the New 52 after all.

When the speedster tap into time-travel, the speedster become man without past or future which is Eobard state when he arrived at S2 hence Time Remnant.
By that, its possible for the speedster from the future to ask their past self assistance even if his past self would ended up died by that since it wouldn't change the speedster (the future one) existence.

So, Time Remnant is not about taking part of the past but more like a version of you that remains at point of time when you do time-travel.

Was trying to figure out why the suit looks so weird, but I think I got it. In the comics, Kid Flash always had a lot of hair, like Barry. With this buzzed look, it seems off.

Also, the boots should be yellow.
