You know it wasn't until I was watching the episode again that I began to really notice some science snags ( I mean, even more so than a series about superpowered adolescents would have. )
Like with Bakago constantly making such giant explosions, shouldn't he and anyone else near him be constantly blown back by the force even if the explosion is happening in the air? And would not constantly superheating followed by instantly supercooling an area, especially when you happen to be inside a metal oil drum in the middle of it all, be particularly dangerous, Todoroki? Just some little things my science mind caught, but at least it did prove for some cool visuals.

Also, ice isn't just cold in general, it's frozen water. Heating it so rapidly like that could hurt him quite badly from the steam alone, not to mention the energy being released from going from super hot to super cold in seconds.

They planned this attack at just the right time. All the students are exhausted from that hellish training. Id be a little pissed as well if the teachers kept telling me i was safe but villains kept showing up everytime we have a school trip lol. Cant to get see what powers these new villains have how our pedawan hero's try to overcome them.

Water doesn't have to be anywhere close to boiling to give off steam on a cool day in the mountains.
Japanese people typically like the bathe at around 40 degrees Celsius. That would be what Todoroki was trying to maintain.

Look all you gotta do is reverse your thinking. Shoto is absolutely fine with the exercise, therefore the exercise isn't doing anything bad to him. I mean are we really nit picking the laws of physics in a shonen battle anime about superheroes?

Omg, the fight this week was so epic.
We got Deku vs Muscular and it really exceeded my expectations after seeing how far it went. 1,000,000% Smash! Deku earned a lot of my respect. Not to mention, I think the music used for the battle scenes were pretty damn well made too for the episode. Plus Ultra!

Yeah, awesome fight this week (and awesome animation to match it, I love the job they're doing for this show). Ouch, Deku's in horrible shape again, but it was necessary. Been a while since we've seen anything survive a 100% Smash. Talk about close though, Deku was already basically saying his good-byes before he pulled through at the end. And of course its not just his inherited quirk, its his determination that's an inspiration to those around him that is Deku's strength.
That's one guy down, but looks like they've got quite a few more crazy villains to deal with. While the metal guy has it wrong (class A was cornered and had to fight, aside from Bakugo of course), should be interesting to see class B in action too. |

Stellar animation and even music to accompany the final punch. These are the episodes that make you glad that Bones and their staff is handling the anime.

Pretty damn good episode, I like Muscular, he's a very pure villain, free of conflict and hesitation in all of his actions. |

Most people also live their lives not surrounded by people with bizarre and life-threatening abilities, and an interest in using said abilities, much less living in a world with a well-off organization of criminals who particularly enjoy tormenting the innocent. Yeah, I'd say in the MHA world, you're likely going to either some day meet someone who puts their life on the line to save you or you're going to die because there wasn't anyone there to help.

Oh man this episode flew right by that how awesome the action was!
To start we have the setup for the next few fights to come, The Villains seem to be searching for Bakugo as a secondary objective aside from killing students, and Ragdoll is MIA we can only hope she'll be okay... Now on the main event Deku vs Muscular! Kota unexpectedly comes face to face with his parent's murder. The Voice Actor did a excellent job showing the emotional pain and fear a child would be going through at that moment. Deku on with his last ditch effort to get Kota out of there telling him to run as he holds Muscular off while knowing this might be end for him. All the way up to saying goodbye and sorry to his Mother and Mentor for failing I was at the edge of my seat. Finally Kota pushing Deku to go (wait for it)....BEYOND PLUS ULTRA!!!! This act of awesomeness was so strong emotionally that even Kota had to declare Deku his hero and man I tell I kind of teared up at that part. However I'm fairly sure Deku has destroyed his body once again to pull that last attack off... I believe she was talking about finding someone who could show him what it means to be a hero. You know to put your life on the line for others.

Bones did this fight justice. You could feel Midoriya's desperation in the face of overwhelming power and his determination to protect Kouta. And that 1 million smash, holy crap!
That the villain who showed up in front of Kouta was the one who killed his parents was pretty contrived. What are the odds? It's not a big deal, but it always bothers me when such things happen in a story.
