Could Shinobu and Tsukihi taking a dump all over Nadeko be seen as her being an unreliable narrator?

I suppose sometimes drastic measures are necessary. Cutting her bangs was a pretty dramatic move, but in a normal circumstance maybe that would help push Nadeko out of her normal stance. It's not like she could hide behind that hairstyle anymore and might have to face the world a bit more directly. Not just being in a comfortable love that she'll never get, but actually dealing with the ups and downs of being involved with the world around her.

Things get so extreme at times in this series with basic interactions that it could be easy to take Tsukihi's words and actions in the wrong way. Though certainly can't misunderstand that she totally would have jumped into bed with her brother if Nadeko hadn't been there instead

. Suppose sometimes the best thing you can do for a friend is give them a bit of a kick. Though if any of my friends come at me with sharp implements I'm just running in the other direction...

KanaHana's tirade as Nadeko was made even better due to the fact I watched IS2 and Freezing prior to this ep.

I could listen to her rant for hours.

And this is why nadeko's hair was a white snake in the opening of the nadeko medusa arc. Because the snake promise her a new hair!!
moral of the story: don't ever believe any white little thing that could grant you any wish.

I had the biggest grin on my face when Nadeko snapped. It was so satisfying to see her vent off her frustration, especially in that fashion. Her speech was absolutely amazing. KanaHana must have had a lot of fun voicing this scene. It's like it was written just for her, and it most likely was. Gonna listen to it again~

At first I was mad Tsukihi cut Nadeko's bangs, but Nadeko looks cute regardless so it's ok. And this way everybody can bask in her cuteness. It was criminal for her to hide her face under her bangs. Still, Tsukihi kind of acted like a bitch here, and she gave off some serious yandere vibes once again. It's best not to piss her off.

The second best scene in the episode was Nadeko discovering Araragi's porn mags. Her reaction was so cute. She was both embarrassed and impressed

That ending... damn. Koyomi, stop breaking the hearts of young maidens!

It looks like you could understand Japanese more than Hanazawa.

The snapping scene was quite good actually, only if you could grasp all those expression in Japanese and not in subs.

Based on the expressions I did understand, their choice and the way they were acted were too stereotypical for my expectations from the author and the VA. Add to that the fact that when Nadeko was thinking "badly" of others wasn't and still isn't using that manner of speech (again both in choice of vocabulary/expressions and acting).

Hanazawa is a great VA that has voiced "bad girls" before, it's just that in this case it didn't work out.

Same... I didn't actually really like nadeko til now.

Hanazawa is truly a good VA. They should pay her more : p she is the voice of Ichiko in binbougami ga she does a good job with the craziness of that character.

I'm sure it was also Nadeko's moe persona that Tsukihi was attracted to.

If Nadeko was a delinquent gang leader from the beginning it makes sense that she'd probably end up clashing with Karen instead.
