So we'll have some monsters, but at the same time the count is limited. If they need pens to make them that's a small count even if the enemy has literally all the other pens. I'd be surprised if they did but if they do I hardly think it's a good tactical move to risk the Precure stealing the pens back. Maybe they try it out for a few monsters, but you'd think after giving up 5 or 6 it just isn't worthwhile. Better off just hoarding the pens, saying "come at us" and wait for them to fly into a trap. Although I suppose tactical sense and precure villainy may not be guaranteed.
Not sure someone who travels in a space ship should be that impressed by an observatory, but hey let's roll with it. In terms of the ship repairs, it's pretty remarkable that Lala has finished an incredible amount without any real assistance. Not sure they need a massive operation to finish off the repairs, but let's let the other girls feel as if they are chipping in . An overall cute episode.

It feels like the split-screen transformation combo still just serves to highlight the differences between their individual transformations. It doesn't really... mesh. Personally, I would have suggested they create a completely new group transformation sequence.

Enjoyed this epiode. Lala realize that it's good to reply on her friends. She's not alone anymore. Some nice shooting by Cure Selene. Using the arrow multiple times to block the shots from the motw suprised me.

That was... a really good episode, actually. Hikaru face planting on the planet, Elena being the straight man of the group, a joke using stock footage that was actually funny(!), furry Puruns, even that bit with the Libra princess at the end, they all got a laugh out of me.

Holy smokes, that was a solid episode right there. Some really intelligent directions to take the story. We got an alien planet that wasn't what you'd expect from naming sense alone. Heck the creatures living there look alien enough and suit the environment. The villains made some intelligent decisions or at least were prevented from making bad choices. The one assistant holding up on using the dark pen seemed clever. It'd be unnecessary to bring that much firepower out and risk losing yet another pen.
That was really solid. The main cast straight up lost and had to run away. Though clever move by Lala to call in her ship and Puruns for rescuing the heroes. They didn't overcome through good guy power. Their enemies outnumbered them and overpowered them. It was a total loss and even brought forth a reminder that the bad guys can steal pens too. Should hopefully turn into good character development for Hikaru. Of course they did need to go out and find the pens anyways. But her reckless actions finally had a cost and will continue to have a cost in the next episode. That was one of the best episodes they've had so far.

I thought Madoka would take both socks off.. I guess they could just be rolled down. Teachers and other students becoming surprised why the student council president becoming sleepy.. inattentive in class. Good thing Hikaru was able to help in time before things got worse. fun episode, I enjoyed it.

On Madoka's dad, for all the mental stress that he's giving to his daughter.. I have no sympathy when the notrigger crapped on him with that punch. They seem to have a group attack now.

Episode 11: Ok, now Im getting serious sailor moon vibes here. Is the crystal monster going to be death phantom?
Episode 12: Ok, I did not... actually, I did see it coming but thought it was too silly to be true, but it turned out to be true after all, and it opened the way for more delightful silliness, which is what matters in the end. Also, when you think Lala can-t get cuter, she dresses like a proper princess. And finally gets her full name too. Great episode. |

Really enjoyed this episode. When Hikaru throw the shuriken at the director, and Madoka "reads" the whole script. haha Well, considering that none of them seems to have any previous acting experience.. this is to be expected. xD Looking forward to next week.

Good episode. Funny and awkward when Lala called Madoka and Elena as "sempai" and even bow to them. Hikaru help Lala to overcome the awkward situation, and things are alright again.

Good lord, what are these weirdos?!
=Episode is about not looking down on your family for being unique. Well played, precure. Would have liked to see a bit of a flashback of Elena not being so into her family to drive the point home, but still, pretty good episode, and cool to see all three generals got different power ups. New cure time already? Well, so long she does not go "get on my level" to the rest of the crew and acts like a jerk all around, it should be a fun time. |

Episode 13:
I figured this would happen. Several episodes ago, when Lala told us that people on her world don't go to school because AI can answer everything for them, I figured this would be the case. Take away their AI and they can't do anything at all.

It is kind of amusing that Elena's focus episode was hijacked by Lala. Not that Lala isn't in a good spot to give perspective on being an outsider. It would have been nice to see more about what Elena went through as a kid and how she reconciled it. Her best moments with her brother are after he's been turned into a monster. Thus...she doesn't really get to interact with him. His issue was mostly resolved by Lala before the fight even started. Also...the scorpio finisher kind of sucked. That's the best you can do precure? Just throw a scorpion silhouette on top of her normal finisher? What's even the point of that attack? Is it any stronger than her normal one?

Not as if technology is something evil. Considering they've successfully managed being a space faring civilization it appears to be working. They get members of their culture out and contributing faster. Kind of a middle ground between back when schools didn't exist at all and kids just quickly started picking up a trade as early as possible and present days when a long period of educating is needed. They are definitely reliant on their tools. But there are downsides to all sorts of educational systems. Not that this show is going to dive too deeply into any of that. That was an episode where the lesson was "be yourself." Lala ran into problems when she was too worried about making mistakes. She was able to go to the school without it. She wasn't suffering from crippling anxiety. It was simply an alien culture and educational system. Of course she wasn't going to understand what was going on. It isn't as if she needs her AI to tell her how to pilot the ship every time she does it. In the best case it appears to be a helpful 1 on 1 teacher that can help her learn knew things when she needs to know them.
