On another topic, everyone knows about the upcoming new Frontier TV Blu-Ray boxset, right?

The funny thing is, the Japanese version of Gundam Unicorn had, I believe, 6 language subtitles including obscure languages like... French...
And its also published by Bandai Visual. So I really don't understand why Frontier should be, you know... different, if they want to make a profit. - Tak

Seriously, ONE person fansubs a vid, or ONE person puts a clip up on Youtube, and the Japanese companies start screaming about piracy, and shun the international market. Thank goodness everyone here went out and BOUGHT all their Frontier stuff, so we're not part of the problem.

Oh, c'mon, Yot. Can you please stop it with trying to shame people here, which, if I need to remind you, is a torrent site? I can't help it if the Japanese companies are being stupid about their international distribution. This looks like more of a mental disorder on their part to me than being a problem of fansubs. After all, American (and European) companies have no problem translating/subtitling their stuff for local markets although piracy exists.
I already said that I would buy Macross Frontier DVD's if they were out there with subtitles. Also, isn't there the additional problem for Macross with Teh Debbil, erm, I mean Harmony Gold?

Hrrrrmm. Even if he does, it always gets on my nerves when he busts out the "Hey, I do buy stuff, why don't you, you ungrateful moochers?" (<-dramatization) Which he has done in the past a few times.
I don't have unlimited money, rather the contrary. Which means for me that I need to apply it where it gives the best yield, which is for me novels, roleplaying games and computer games. Macross Frontier would qualify, if it were translated. And no, saying "But you can infer what is going on with your psychic powers" is not a valid argument. I simply don't speak the language, I have no desire to invest the time to learn it at this time and I'll only pay for things which I can actually fully understand.
