So, wait. You're criticizing the movie without having seen it?

And not paying for it, on top of that.

Could be a form of electromagnetic propulsion. Well ELS are made of metal.

Also scientists are currently working on a practical force field technology for space environment.

Yes pretty stupid of me, but seeing the fight scenes, designs and reading the plot had given me ideas about the movie. I also note I spelt 'Definitely' wrong... Again.

Anyway I've seen most of the movie now (Not all of it).

I like the way the ELS were put into the series, so far I can't tell if the ELS are sentient or just a zombie like 'creature(s)' similar to the flood in Halo.

One gripe I do have is that it seems like most of the suits have massive laser canons just for the sake of destroying as many ELS on screen as possible (Like the brave suits, I thought their lineage wasn't exactly with big lasers.), the combat isn't particularly exciting. Fast paced yes, engaging (for me) not so much.

The ELS taking control of vehicles was alright and it gave a chance for the 'real world' to shine , but I think that the Hallelujah parkour scene was a bit overdone. This is the aliens thread so I won't go into much detail in the movie overall.

The ELS are a sentient race and not like the Flood.

With ELS as an enemy, that's the best way. What else to do other than blowing them up? Any suggestion?

I'd say ELS is more like a combo between the Flood and the Zerg. Flood instantly infests anything but the Zerg can reproduce whatever they absorb unlike the Flood.

What about the winged whale(?) fossil that can be seen inside Patrick Zala's office in Gundam Seed?

... You do that. Doesn't even work against an angry girlfriend.

No, I understand the laser cannons are effective against the ELS, I'm just saying that the combat was basically just 'Destroy as much ELS as possible in a single scene', I thought it went against the idea of the Flag lineage being a fast lightweight melee MSs.

Oh well.

So they can take as many ELS out as possible on screen.

Not really when you consider what the ESF had to prepare to face off against human wise the know threat of CB and unknown threat of 3rd party getting tau drives possibly even TDS and Trans-Am suits.

I'm fully aware of that. My comment was talking about the Braves in relation to other ESF MS.
