Maybe people don't actually live in the forum to do signatures for people the moment they're requested, especially when requested by people who've registered that day and their only post is in here.

I think it isn't that hard for some of them since most people who do requests here are skilled... or rather they're not interested, some sigmaker are interested in some requests that even though if you're new here they will make it, just don't rush them ok

Been exactly what ? Would you like to identify the insult you just threw at me ?

If you read the rules in the first page, you'll see something like '' Do not ask Signatures to use elsewhere ''. Now the '' problem '' with AS is that there are alot skilled signature makers so people come to join here and with their first post, they ask for a signature. Once they get a signature, they're never heard from again until they need new signature .. In other words, they only joined to get a signature for some other site.

I simply assumed you were one of these '' hit & run '' guys. If not, I apologize, but there's no need to be rude. There is like at least one person per page that requests something which won't be even used in here so you should understand that it is rather annoying.

At least try to make some other posts on the board before requesting a graphic so that people don't think that you're someone who will request and leave. Because otherwise, it'll give a bad impression on everyone for examples that Dist listed earlier.

I understand the need for you to be unique, but could you please stop posting in that font. It gives me a headache just looking at it.

Reinako made your request, you are happy with it but why are you not using it? More importantly, why are you asking us to try making another signature? Any image can be made into into a signature, so there is no need to try.

PS: Gosh, this thread sure attracts plenty of leechers. The second request I did went to a leecher. Talk about energy sapping. -.-"

He PM'ed me and admit that because he has exams and suck with photoshop he is '' hit and run '' and only came here to request a signature.

Pff ... If you suck with Photoshop then either : Practice and learn, or request on the forum you'll use it on.

So this is what the signature makers have to deal with... People who leech off the work you provide for them, and just run to another forum with the beautiful signature you worked hard for them... Must be pretty rough.

When I joined AS, the issue was nowhere near as frequent and aggravating as it is now. I have my suspicions that some users who do carry out this 'hit and run' tactic are creating multiple accounts for signature requests.

I think it would be a good idea to implement some sort of rule or pre-requisitory in regards to signature requests. Not that any of the artists are obliged to carry out the requests however...

Beside a self-imposed rule than would be applyied by all signature maker I don't think than there's a solution for the short term.

But it would be a idea to talk about that with a mod or two. If thoses are creating account just for requesting signatures, would those account be a ''dead weight'' for the forum's system ?

If that is the case, it would certainly be a tremendous problem to the forum itself.

The repercussion from all this is that many artists may no longer bother to do requests anymore because they're infuriated by being cheated on like this (or become pickier as to whom they'll do requests for).
