pretty sure most of their animation is good however if ur talking about art style thats pretty subjective

Kind of a disappointment. If PA Works was gonna try doing a mecha show I'd have liked something a little less generic. Or maybe just a girl as the MC. I mean, you rarely see that in mecha anime.

But yeah, whatever. I think I'll pass on this.

Character trailer looks quite good, PA Works is keeping up that top form earned after Charlotte success.

One thing i have to note is that PAW are taking a massive gamble releasing this in the same season Macross Delta is. It's handicapping tself commercially before it even begins.

Ok fine, this has me hyped enough to bring me out of hybernation, I've wanted Tensai Okamura to direct something at PA works for years (he's been a storyboard regular at PA works for years, going as far back as Canaan)

Also way back in 2011 when HSI was coming out the head of PA works mentioned wanting to do a mecha show, wish I still had the link to it but the one i kept is dead.

So I was waiting for both these things to happen and they're happening within one show? Yep, I'm hyped.

Hard to say, Active Raid can move to other time slot like Gate 2nd cour, so nothing is "almost certain".
Since it's PA Works anniversary show i think it will be 2 cour.

Yes, PAW never made split-cours but their 10th anniversary work (HanaIro) was 2-cour and they made a bunch of 2-cour series. Making one-cour for 15th anniversary looks somehow underwhelming.

true but they made 3 shows back in 2013 so im guessing if they do that they can have this be 1 cour and sometime in summer or fall get a 2 cour series up

unless this is their anniversary anime and not a new project. idk just speculating

It is, so i don't think it's one cour show, time slot doesn't really mean anything for prove how many episode it will have.

^ Looks really good, PA Works originals are truly top notch. They have come a long way since becoming widely known in the industry with their smash hit Angel Beats.
