The latest Tsubasa partial patch is available: http://www.mediafire.com/?ef9x0nzbsuhc7nh

I believe Witch Hunt mentioned they would be translating some of these extra stories, but it might be some time until anything is announced.

Been reading through episodes 1-4 again, and I've noticed that there are a few spelling/grammar errors in there. Is that something that you're planning on fixing sometime in the future? I wouldn't mind going through the script and fixing all of them, I've got nothing to do for the next 6 months (deferred uni course, can't get a job).

Witch Hunt has always welcomed any external help in finding errors in the script
If you are serious about going through a careful check you might want to refer to this page:

Here we are!

Umineko no Naku Koro ni Hane English Patch - you can download it from Mediafire or (soon) from our website.
There's also an Italian version available, if you prefer so.
Install it as you always have with WH's manual patch, or just read the readme.

This is a Windows-only patch. I wanted to do a OSX version too but I had some problems, I'm sorry. If you find any errors, please send them to our email address! (included in the readme).

Special thanks to LyricalAura, which kindly let us use the translation for Jessica and the Killer Electric Fan, and the to me unknown translator of Forgery N.XXX on the wiki!

*whistle* that came out of nowhere!
Don't have Hane myself since I was a cheapskate when ordering Ougon Cross,
but I'll express gratitude regardless on behalf of those who do have it.
anyhow, good work!

Gratz, looks like you did it, despite being not so optimistic due to the timing

Just an update for the Epitanime con taking place this week end in france:

The sign sessions with Ryukishi will be held during the 3 days:
Friday: 9:30PM - 10:30PM
Saturday: 9:15PM - 10:15PM
Sunday: 11:15AM - 12:15PM

(no mistake with friday and saturday, as the con is mainly focused on overnight activities, hence why the first 2 signing sessions are during evening).

For those who wish to have Ryukishi's signature, you will be asked to bring your own official game or goods. No bootleg whatsoever will be allowed. A shikishi or plain sheet of paper is acceptable.

Conferences will be held on Saturday and Sunday
Saturday: 2:00PM - 3:30PM
Sunday: 2:00PM - 3:30PM

Does it come after Tsubasa as in you need to read Tsubasa first, or do you mean it was just released after Tsubasa? Congrats on releasing the patch!

Released after,
good luck tracking it down
as it officially only came in a limited special bundle with Ougon Cross and Higanbana 2nd Night.
There's only two TIPS though so you're not really missing much aside from having the two in VN style rather than just text.

I expect there'll be reprints of Hane released for next Comiket. I don't think you need to read Tsubasa before Hane, but you should have read the main story first.

Well, finished reading Hane. Damn that was way too short. Especially the second story. Wish he'd written a bit more to that.

I noticed there were quite a lot of spelling and grammatical errors (I'm cursed, I notice every single one without fail, literally). I'm gonna go through it again in the next few days and put together a list of spelling/grammar errors, plus places where I personally thought the translation sounded a bit unnatural.

Good job with the Hane translation!
Doesn't anyone have the link for the Tsubasa translated stories?

Many, many thanks. Not being a native English speaker, I could only do that much in translating/editing I hope at least the general meaning was conveyed successfully.

That Hane patch, I love you for it.
Seriously.

Now all I have to do is to wait for a Hane release... Maybe for the next Comiket, as people think it will be. When is Comiket anyways? No idea.

But really, Thank you so much for this!

Oh, @RedKey, do you accept people sending in E-mails/writing it down for all grammatical mistakes?

New units are usually manufactured for each Comiket, so retailers should have more stock at around C82 in August.

The long period of time between FuyuComi and NatsuComi does annoy me, since popular titles often sell out quickly and it's a while before more copies can be obtained.

How is it that the Witch-Hunt can offer downloads of the main games? Would offering the other TIPS (or even other games like Higanbana) be considered?
