Not really, Gundam 00 took a ton of stuff from previous series such as the Gundams taking on the world armies (Gundam Wing), the A-Laws (The Titans) and the QBW (Newtypes). The only thing truly unique was the alien invasion thing, and from everything I have heard it's not done very well.

23. Did Aeolia met the ELS? And what are the dialogues between him and the scientist that Ribbons originated from?

I don't get what you're saying here. Deconstruction and subversion of the Gundam mythos doesn't preclude the usage of common Gundam tropes, in fact that's part of the point of it.

The only thing truly unique was the alien invasion thing, and from everything I have heard it's not done very well.

From what I've read so far, I think it was handled well. If this was any other series, the humans would have held their own against the aliens and eventually prevailed through sheer determination. But that wasn't the case with Gundam 00.

Just came home. Arrived late.. but just in time for the starting part .. man was the theatre pitch black. Definitely a good movie to watch but there were a few flaws..

The ending was lacking.. seriously wtf ELS flower? Relationship were not conluded well except Marina and Setsuna but.. Marina was like an old lady .. Pitied Feldt.. Setsuna was like answering her with one word answer ... At least show us what happened to Saji and Louise like a photo of their family? Marie and Allelujah Haptism.. But these are just minor complains beside the ELS flower lolwut. Felt they could septn a few more mins on those stuff...

I haven't been reading the posts the last few days, so I'll just post my comments on a few observations. Just finished watching it a few hours ago.

My comments, events are not in order:

-The scene where events of ALAWS opression in S2 was super funny. The thether was LOLing quite loud. It involves the 4 Meisters in the Gundams combining their powers to form a Raiser Sword and the whole thing was shounenish in general l. It's pretty much like a parody of one of the S2 Army battles except in the storyline it was just a movie depicting so called "real" events. Saji was watching it with his friend.

-The Ribbons in the movie is not Ribbons at all but one of the crew members of the Europa explored ship. They concluded that it was an Innovade with the same DNA pattern with Ribbons.

-00 Quanta and Raphael get very little screentime. 00 condenser did not even fire a shot. 00 Quanta barely fought as it is. They weren't kidding when they said it was a machine to stop the fighting.

- The TA Burst used by 00RCT is apprently just mentioned as 00 using the Raiser System although it's pretty much TAB in effect. The machine scans Set's eyes before it just like last time though.

- Setsuna's Flag and Dynames Repair DOES make apperences. The former was done in a super awesome fashion with Setsuna pawning 3 GN-X (not sure whether they were GNX One or IV though, the color scheme was yellow me thinks) and they belonged to the Union Corporation which wad a company in charge of developing a colony. The one was saw with the red stuff in the trailers.

-ESF is not Innovating anyone, it seems to be happening naturally though Im not sure how. The facility is question is so said individuals can be seperated from society so tensions won't rise in between them since they are very different people. Even Setsuna has some trouble being an Innovator it seems with new senses and stuff.

-The ELS will focus their attack and target higher level QBW users. When they were ground, they targeted Marie when Allelujah was with her but when he changed to Hallelujah it changed it's target. Marie and Al are also very physically adept and can land from a reasonable length without hurt. Hal is also a badass in acribatics when on foot. They were facig an ELS in the form of an unmanned truck.

-Innovators can live several times longer than a normal human and are alot more stronger.

-Descartes was recognise as an Innovator by Veda. Which was why they; the ESF knew he was one. We also got a short glimpse of some of Veda's regular Innovade's working for a short while.

-Raphael launched from within Celestial Being the first time. The ESF has not fully controlled the facility it seems. Both ESF and CB are using Veda.

-Raphael is a fully Tau suit it seems. I guess those two cone things are really Tau Drives judging by the design and the emission. I'm not sure whether the base Raphael possesses a Tau Drive anymore since we were using the orange and green seperation as our basis for the previous theory. But now that it's a full Tau suit there's no evidence for that anymore. It might still have one though but it's definitely not a definite case of elimination like before.

-At Tiera's request, the 00 Quanta was equiped with a miniature Veda Terminal so Tiera could help Set with the handling of the massive influx of data when communicatig with the ELS. Raphael was destroyed at this point already late in the movie.

- it's not a figurative flower, it's a bloody real flower at the end. I'm not kidding it's a real solid giant flower. Have no idea how it got there though.

-the Sword bits can form a portal when they are gathered together in a circle. 00Q can pass through this and tele away. The sword bits will then quantise away as well. This is how it exists the movie.

Epilouge: around 50 years have passed. A quarter of humans have become Innovators and some deep space explorations are already under way. An old blind Marina plays the piano in her house. Suddenly an individual appears and he asks who it is. It turns out to be Setsuna, a strange whitish looking Setsuna (colorwise doesn't look like a normal human) but otherwise looks the same returning after dissapearing for a long time.

maybe I'll make a few summaries later but these are just some stuff. It doesn't reflect the movie very well truth be told the stuff I mentioned above but just mentioning some facts that has happened that I recall.

I greatly enjoyed this movie especialy in the enviroument I've watched it in. There are certain things Im unhappy with like 00Q's and Raphael screentime but otherwise Im satisfied. I really love the first half of the movie where we see some stuff started happening all over the world and the attacks on some peopleneven when this part had little MS in it. I'm personally satisfied with the movie.

This is not to say it's perfect or t has zero flaws because it does but considering Ive been wanting to see the aliens ever since Ribbons keep muttering the mysterious dialogues to come line, I'm personally happy. And this surprised me as well bit th mobile suit and battle aspect that it sort of falls a bit, I'm mostly content with the others. I wish I could see it again but Im going to go home now.

50 years is a long time of unfilled blanks. I wouldn't be surprised if we get some side story that takes place in those 50 years. The evolution of the world up to that point couldn't have been an easy one. It also makes you wonder. 50 years have passed and only 40% of the world has Innovated? That isn't a lot. How much time will it take for every single last living human to become an Innovator?

Hmm...So the ELS merged (or perhaps, disguised as the Jupiter ship)...So the "strange phenomena" is like the ELS innovating the humans in the area? Or using their QBW?
