Apparently, it's for the Arcades. But judging from the graphics the trailer had, I'm gonna guess Square Enix will also release this for either the PS4 or the Vita

I'm quite excited. It looks like a higher budget Dissidia.

Speculation time. Since Y'shtola is here and so as Lightning, this is probably either the very first cycle, or the one before Duodecim.

Also, does nobody found it weird that there were no villains showcased in the trailer?
I also wonder if they're gonna add characters from FFXV.

The trailer looks amazing for something that is an arcade release. Also looks like they have multiplayer now. Interested in seeing the new line up.

PS4 version is pretty much confirmed! However, arcade version will come out first and we'll get the console version the year after apparently.

Yeah. I read that on siliconera and immediately thought that it might be best to simply forget about this title for awhile. However, that'll probably be easier said than done. I'm psyched to get Ramza. And since this game doesn't seem like it'll hit consoles till 2017 or later, then that'll only improves the odds of Noctis eventually being a last minute addition. So I guess I'll consider that to be the silver lining in the cloud for now. I wonder if the console version will get the blazblue treatment as far as story modes go or if the ps4 version will be strictly just an arcade port.

Well iirc I read something @ neogaf saying that the arcade version will be coming out @ Fall 2015 and a 2016 console release date might not be far-fetched.

As for the storyline, I think arcade version will only have the arcade mode and the story mode will be a console-exclusive.

I hope you're right. If the arcade release does make it in time for fall 2015, the realist in me says Japan might get it for PS4 in time for fall of 2016, but the rest of the world won't see it till early 2017 (unless they're going to start the localization process within the next few months or so). Of course I'm going to assume the localization process could take a long time or a short time depending on the issue discussed below...

No doubt about that. At the very least, it's obvious the arcade version won't be seeing much of a story mode either way. I just want to know if the consoles are in for another story mode with the same depth as the psp titles or if they're not going to even focus on giving it a story this time. Naturally, I'd love another lengthy story mode to see our protagonists interact once more, but I feel like that'll also push the release date further back.

Seeing him there not only confirms that we're getting Ramza, but also, it gives me high hopes that we'll be getting Noctis and co. in the future.
