Higurashi manga thread

Hello everyone, I am new to this topic, I am sorry if my English is bad, I am still learning.
Regarding the new manga, I read that the pretagonist Keitaro (Keiichi's son) comes to Hinamizawa from Tokyo and befriends the children of the other girls, that means that Keiichi did not stay with Rena and Mion and stayed with another girl ?, or is this story not a continuation of Gou or Sotsu and is it an alternate story ?.

Spoiler for Chapter 1-3:

- It explains Hanyuu's sudden disappearance after Matsuribayashi.
- It presents Rika in a better light than anime counter part. At St.Lucia, Rika tried to get Satoko involved as much as possible. She offered her help with study in a more considerate way. It was Rika's new 'friends' who play the antagonist role by trying to push away Satoko from Rika.
- Meanwhile, Satoko also tried her best to fit in the St.Lucia environment. She actually went to the tea party with Rika in Meguri. Study is still a big problem for her.
- Interestingly, Meguri has never mentioned about Satoko's recovery from Hinamizawa syndrome.

Meguri seems written like Ryukishi and Tomato were reading about all of SotsuGou's critics and then decided to listen to every single one so far.
You wanted Shion? Well here she is! Want Satoko to actually make an effort? Here you go! Better idea of Rika and Satoko's thoughts? You got it! And on that note...

Spoiler for Chapter 2.2:

We end at the beginning of Satokowashi-hen's third episode here. Biggest difference so far is that Satoko's trap injures Rika instead. She's even knocked unconsciousness. Incidentally, the girl who got hurt in the anime seems to be the one who noticed Satoko (who runs away from the scene). Also Satoko continues to try her hardest, until she's literally brought to tears remembering the good times (This is where she comes up with her trap idea).

Edit: Oh yeah, the trap incident happens later in the story here too (Second year of St Lucia instead of the first)

Spoiler for Chapter 4.1:

Eua and Satoko's first meeting goes much differently here. Eua showing Satoko Rika's 100 years happens here instead and is also forced onto Satoko against her will. Also, Eua dialouge at the end seems to imply the Rika Satoko kills to be sent looping is going to be Matsuribayashi's Rika.

Manga version just basically said "Screw the anime ending!"

Things really starting to get really different now as promised by author. The first thing Satoko tried in the loop is to let Rika go to St.Lucia and stay in Hinamizawa with her brother (Aka Anime ending) but it seems Eua manipulated the event and make it the worst outcome as possible. Satoko tried many different approach later but it's all ended bad for her

Seen the chapters of the manga, Satoko's arc is certainly different from the anime, it is interesting to wait how it will turn out.
I also like the Keitaro manga of the other children of the club members, hopefully soon they will answer things like why Keiichi didn't stay with Mion or Rena? Shion stayed with Satoshi? Or did Satoko and Rika fix their relationship? Or maybe this manga isn't a continuation of Sotsu and Gou?.
It makes me want to see another anime of the franchise, but will it be possible?.
