Yegawds.... those Tachikomas look so sweet....... what a pity they are not sellable ( even if they are, I expect the price to be high... )

The Wonder Showcase Plus Asuka has a very nice body and wonderfully detailed plugsuit. The hair is also excellent. However the face... it looks like she has a fish mouth stuck onto it. This is no way to treat the red haired princess What is with the "cut off at the mid-calf" treatment anyway?

That must be the 20% discount that comes with this statue

No seriously, the cut-off of this Asuka statue and it's Rei counterpart really make them worthless in my opinion.

Not exactly was made to be a bust/statue. I have the Rei one and its pretty big so if they made the legs for it it would be about 15 plus inches and would be hard to stable the statue, without falling to apart. Also the great base with the broken buildiing behind them gives it a extra flair. The paint they use is really great cause they use a shimmery coating on it.

Also it really much of a discount since when the statue was made it was priced for 24,800 yen. In U.S money thats 240 bucks. Now it's sold out in most places.

I fully agree there - how dare they!? Her mouth looks like she's just eating a banana in the whole without peeling it before

Yes, that greatly degrades the figure as well - looks totally half-assed that way
I really don't see any point for doing such a crap - did they run out of material or something?

Yeah the mouth thing is a draw back though. The guy who mad the statue is new in Kaiyodo industry's and was ask to make the statue for the wonder show case event in Japan.

Anyhow this is also a nice statue from ghost in the shell sea of wires.

Wow, how'd I miss this thread, lol...

Well I've got around 300 various resin/garage kit characters of varying size and quality Most are quite expensive so they are pretty much locked nicely in an air-tight display case now, but there are still a few that I have out and about...Dunno bout pictures though considering every digicam I have is off poor quality and/or doesn't work lol.

However, as far as listing them...I'll show a few of the ones that I can find images for online. Sad part, many of mine are ecchi, surprisingly enough, they happen to be A-Brand and with most being KGNE/Muvluv

Spoiler for KGNE and Muvluv figurines:

Spoiler for Various NGE:

Spoiler for For the special one I am waiting to buy next ;):

Spoiler for The only X-Brand model that I believe I can get away with showing:

Spoiler for Jubei-chan:

Spoiler for Mahoro:

Spoiler for Onegai Teacher:

So there you go, just a sample of what I have...anyways, yes, before you ask they took quite a bit of cash to get, most pre-painted and that tacks on at least another $60-$100...luckily I have a friend who got them for me pretty cheap, about 40% the listed prices for many.

For reference, I'll see about listing some of my collection...
Majority of KGNE and MuvLuv
4 Mahoromatic
10 Love Hina
14 NGE
3 Azumanga Daioh
8 Chobits
2 Excel Saga
1 Fate/Stay Night
6 Final Fantasy
5 Ghost in the Shell
3 Hand Maid May
2 Hellsing
3 Ai Yori Aoshi
1 Ikkitousen
2 Da Capo
3 Nuku Nuku
2 Noir
3 Onegai Twins
2 Popotan
4 Steel Angel Kurumi
3 Vandread
2 Vampire Hunter D
4 various chibi/SD figures

That's what I can see from where I am sitting lol...all the images are from a single site that I sometimes buy from, not all figures are from there though. Pretty funny how E2046.com states many of the figures as pre-orders when most have been floating around for almost a year now

Cool someone else who likes to collect satues. I just started so its going to take a while to get that many considering statues do cost alot. How long did it take to get that many DarkCntry? Will those are nice statues although I dont exactly collect the ecchi type statues.

Took about 6 years total to get my collection as high as it is, and a lot of scouring for imports

Most of my ecchi ones aren't all that bad, just many of the KGNE/MuvLuv figurines tend to have a bit of nudity with them because of the origin of the characters. And it's pretty hard to get decent looking non-ecchi NGE ones If I remember correctly, almost 2/3rd of the NGE figurines overall were made with some form of nudity, guess people really enjoy seeing them naked

I try to stay away from them, but in the case of KGNE/MuvLuv, I collect almost everything I can get my hands on for them, especially when it comes to Ayu.

6 years man thats along time, but I do believe it since prices on resin statues are really expensive I have 3 so far and I already cost me 186 bucks. Im getting a second statue pretty soon I hope for 80 bucks. Its the Asuka statue that they only made a few of and is sold out in most places. I must have this one at all cost since I already have the Rei statue at hand. Trying to get some final fantasy statues might start off with Cloud since final fantasy 7 was my first RPG and my first game I ever bought.

Maybe I'll get this statue next for my collection. Only reason I didnt buy it yet is because an anime store called Too Cool was suppose to get some in and ordered it cause I mentioned it to the manager. It should come in around Christmas and save me some time and money.

You know, if you read the site carefully it'd tell you which series they're from...

Sansoku Hakufu is from Ikkitousen.

Akane is from Guren (whatever series that is)

Also, KgNE stands for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. The girl in your spoiler tag is Ayu aka "step on cat shit" girl.

That Asuka swimsuit figure is quite cute. The pose is good.
