Admittedly, I'm a bit AFK from lol ever since Svenskeren said he isn't shotcalling material in an interview. Like dude, someone has got to step up the plate. Oh well, at least TSM improved their dragon control, and they looked better as long as they don't get steamrolled early game.
But man, that dragonslayer Xin skin. Now I've seen the purple chroma of it, I'm so gonna buy it day one. Honestly though Jarvan is the more 'Kain'-like with him jumping and all, but him getting the first dragonslayer skin, there's no way he was gonna get this as a skin. XD

Very interesting combo, especially the dual recall. Xayah is more cookie cutter but still gets some nice zoning tools, while Rakan has mass charm...provided he hits. I like the fact that their weaknesses are made clear from the get-go: low mobility, no escape tools for the ADC and strong dependence on speed for the support. They may not see the pro scene, but I think the bot lane could use the extra synergy between its champs.

Meanwhile in Korea SK Telecom annihilate everyone in their split. Even by their standards, they may be the best they ever have been. The way Faker utterly humiliated Pawn just reinforces that there really is no one else on his level.

Giant infodump about the reworked rune system, Evelynn rework and Janna nerfs 7.19 patch notes. There's also some more info about the Xin Zhao rework but that's still work in progress.

For TSM, this is really inexcusable. They played a considerably fast pace in rift rivals three months ago, and now they couldn't secure a first blood and they usually lose first turret. Each member played poorly today too, Doublelift a mention because of not using flash, but most of all Bjergsen who seems to be attracted to skillshots left and right.
And frigging ban Janna if you aren't willing to first pick it on the blue side! Should've learned how good it is already against WE on red side, so it surprised me they didn't prioritize it on blue side. I don't know if it's Parth or it's a team wide decision, but them STILL choosing to go late game when they got exposed in week 1 by misfits was the BIGGEST blunder. They really stepped up the tempo in Rift Rivals, but somehow they became complacent and regressed to late game TSM yet again. Truly truly atrocious. I don't even know why I'm a fan; every year I think they'll make it out of groups, and every year they fail. This year it was no surprise since they were giving up BIG leads later on the season in NA and still winning, when last year they were dominating the early game but no late game. Surely there must be the middle ground where they will succeed? But it needs to be taught to them domestically, else they become one-dimensional in worlds and get exposed. >_>
