Also, with Kiriwo not ratting him out we're clearly going to see Blaal again.

The second half was pure sugar though, and I loved it.
I liked the arc too, and I thought Ohsaka Ryouta was fantastic as Kiriwo. I love to hear well-known seiyuu really play against type like that. I can't help liking Kiriwo and I thought his relationship with Iruma was quite nuanced and interesting - I hope we see him again.

To be honest while I liked this arc I am just happy about next one. As far as I am concerned that's best part.

D'oh, I feel really stupid right now, because I did not even realize that was him. And, I really like Ryouta Ohsaka. I just kept going, I really like this guys voice, who is that, but didn't bother to look it up. Now, that you say that, I can totally hear it.

The thing I also liked is that with his character they subverted a bit the stereotype of the weak, bullied kid, who just wants revenge on the establishment.

Shows have done that and never had sequels. Count your blessings.

So I was thinking to myself, they teased this closed off door at the beginning of the series and never went back to it. What the heck?!?!? Then the credits rolled, and suddenly, they show the door again. At least they referenced it again, but, what the heck!?!?! Why is it so important, but they neglected it for most of the series?

Well, Iruma also changed at the end there, but I'm guessing they are going to detail how that happens in the next season.

Iruma's alarm and the school song still cracks me up

But I'm glad he finally found some peace and happiness

What happened in the end though, I guess something to do with the ring? Guess I'll have to read the manga to find out
The anime has done its job

Or you could wait a year and find out from the anime. That's the dilemma I'm faced with right now too.

For some people being sent to hell is the worst punishment imaginable, then there's Iruma..

I was about to comment on how lighthearted the entire series was, and how Iruma's the most kid-friendly protagonist we've seen in years, until I saw that last scene

Whatever they use as the OP for s2 I hope it's as distinct as this season's babix8 ru OP

Same. But, with how busy the rest of my year is likely to be, I'll probably have to wait for the anime. Either way, I'm so glad we're getting another season.

will be using this post for episodes 3-8.

_______________

episode 3:

Clara is funny, but also brutal on getting revenge on those guys. Glad that she has finally found Iruma who is a real friend.

looks like Asmodeus "talked" to those guys by burning them with fire. lol

and Kalego sensei has a tough time again - disgraced in front of the students, and almost cooked for supper. xD

_________________

episode 4-5:

Iruma is lucky to find out his blood can heal the bird.

he also gained the respect of Sabnock. Iruma's friends and allies are increasing.

_______________

episode 6:

Suzie sensei is kawaii. And I like her way of talking.

The fire flower that Asmodeus created reminds me of the fire flower in Mario games.

Ameri proof that humans exist is because she has manga.

__________

episode 7:

looks like Ameri really enjoyed the manga.

____________

episode 8:

Kalego sensei not happy to receive Clara kiss into his stomach. lol

not expecting to be treated to a Clara family musical.

and I sense an Ameri vs. Clara rivalry in the future, they seem to be the two girls who seriously like him.

this post will be used for episode 9-15.

__________________________

episode 9:

it looks like grandpa Sullivan was glad that Iruma choose to use his own strength, instead of cheating with magic.

Azz and Clara are good friends, very supportive.

the hard work in practicing paid off, Iruma can now catch the ball.
