After watching Kingsglaive yesterday I really really hope the game is good lol.

I'm already invested this much into it from that movie and brotherhood.

I'm just wonder if it will be any good, I haven't played any FF titles after 10 (well X-2 but that shell not be talked about further) based on the plots and/or gameplay is lack luster and nothing has gotten my attention otherwise that would make me want to put down the cash for it

no its saying there will be a lot less free roam than the first less big open spaces and towns to explore and more story driven dungeons, and honestly i like that idea because it means the second half gives off a sense of urgency instead of lets grind for 50 hours the bad guys can wait

I like it. There is such thing as a game being too open world and I tend to lose interest in them pretty quickly.

Oh yeah that's fine and quite interesting. I just don't want it to lock the rest of the game so you're forced to all the side quests and stuff before proceeding.

I'm fine with it. Prevents you from getting overwhelmed by the open world and helps the events of the story feel more urgent.
