Indeed when are we getting that Arima v Owl Rematch? Although she seems to be a doing a great job making some pretty powerful Ghouls of late.

Sry misspoke early we have seen 2 top tiers go down for the CCG although one was basically a trade so it cancels out. Plus one in hospital bed.

Yes and No. No, because the CCG has an organized training method, analytics, resources, etc. Yes because they are getting crushed by noobs for the most part when it comes to artificial ghouls not counting the notable exception. Although the Owl is making new ghouls that have crapped all over the CCG's latest output and the CCG's best half ghoul was one of hers as well so.....

What eggheads are you talking about? CCG R&D?

I'm going to assume you mean investigators know how to use quinque better than when the kagune was actually attached to a ghoul..........which would actually be pretty funny in a morbid way.

You know, Eto basically just gave Arima a chance to have a SSS rank quinque, since if Arima encounters one of those half ghouls, he would obtain their kagune. Just imagine Arima with an owl kakuja armor, ghouls would shit their pants so hard their kakuhou would drop out.

I also think we're forgetting something about the Arata armor. Its farmed off Touka's dad. Imagine the apeshit that'll ensue if (and possibly when) Touka realizes that.

There is also the fact that it eats the user slowly (faster if u still get injured and activate the boosted mode) so they probably retired it. in favor of hybrids.

IIRC, farming kagune requires that ghouls be 'alive'. If that's the case and CCG still plans on going on with the farming, it's possible the man is holed up somewhere no one can find him and his existence is not recorded on any CCG database.

Not sure about this btw. To farm kakuhou you need a ghoul alive (obviously, and only if one can actually regenerate them), but for kagune... maybe a kakuhou itself can be enough?

Konart should be correct, the kakuhou is the organ that produces the kagune.
CCG's quinques uses the kakuhou as the base and by modifying and injecting it with RC stimulants, the quinque is produced.

So CCG don't farm the kagune per se, but the organ (kakuhou) that produces the kagune.

Shinohara explains this in a chapter for Suzuya, the ghoul need not alive, what matters is to know where the kakuhou is located, just that.

The manga never explains it in detail, we can only assume it works the same way regular quinque do.

I imagine that if they only need one quinque, a dead ghoul is enough.
But if they want to make multiple quinques using the same kakuhou, they will need to consistently farm/take it from the same ghoul.
The process should be what Kanou did to Rize, take her kakuhou, let her body regenerate the kakuhou and repeat.
