A scanlator is what we need, we will go for most any title, and if you can translate or edit, that would be cool, but for now we need a scanlator.

Why do you choose to be stipulative..if you can do it just say yes.

Hows this someone who can scan ANY[recent as in last year] manga to their comp, so we can tl it and edit it, and it can be in either japanese or chinese, we would also like someone who can provide online RAWs of manga, that specific enough for you and your stipulations.

There are many aspects of the "scanlation" process. What do you need? Someone to scan, translate, edit, or what? You're the one that isn't being specific.

"Scanslation group in search of scanner. Any manga will do. We have none of our own." That'll get you less help than not asking at all. It's like saying 'incompetent person seeking competent person to do all the work for them'. Almost as bad as the classic 'editor seeking translator and scanner for NEW AWESOMENESS group working on shounen jump series' things.

You know, you could always buy manga online at Sasuga.com or Yesasia.com or something and if one of your current staff members has a scanner, make 'em do more work.

Ok. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if finding a translator was the hardest part, then why do you have 2 willing to work for you even though you're too incompetent to find a scanner? And if finding a scanner is so simple, why can't you find one? Also, why do you think most groups have fewer scanners than translators? Hell, I was the only scanner for my group for the first 2 years.

Join some other group if they're willing to hire you and stop polluting my mind with stupidity.
