He is registered as an independent.

He voted in democrat primaries.

He donated exclusively to democrats.

He also supported a Haley/Vivek ticket, voted for Trump in 2016, invited Kim Jong-Un to vacation, with him, was a COVID conspiracy theorist, supported Tulsi in 2020 and has multiple arrests to his name. Guy's just mentally unwell, his politics are mostly incoherent.

I've seen a screenshot of a post where he mentions supporting Trump in 2016 and that as well as him posting support for the Vivek/Haley ticket in numerous news outlets.

He also was, for a time, an independent recruiter and "contact" for foreigners wanting to join the legion. Actual recruiters who are known and vetted by the Ukrainian military IIRC spoke out against him too.

Also, the Ukrainian military told him that he didn't have any kind of combat experience.
