Checked up on Anime News Network and the Project-Railgun.net. Both didn't yield any confirmations of any second season of either show.

that looks like a huge troll to me.

That picture is picture of touma and index standing side by side. Then why would they say railgun if the picture is from index world? isn't that suspicious already.

if they want to troll then TROLL BETTER

though I wish a second season of index not railgun already.

If it's supposed to say Railgun is getting an S2 this fall already, then I say it's flat-out BS troll-ery. Railgun just ended last month. Index S1 has been over for a few years. They'd do an Index S2 before Railgun S2.

And as I've said before, it's been even longer since Shana S2 ended, and we know for a fact that Shana S3 is coming, so S3 should be coming out before Index or Railgun S2. (sadly, as I'd personally prefer to see Index novel 8 animated before Shana S3)

S3 of Shana would be coming right up. Even if I want to see the battle nuns in action and the hot Oriana. But not happening because shana and yuuji would be taking this year center stage.

Plus using Touma as mascot of Railgun is already equals into a TROLL!!!!

They should use the 4 girls or Misaka if they want advertisement.

I'd say even that might be a bit too much on the optomistic side, unless they go back-to-back. (Shana S3 followed straight up by Index S2 and straight to Railgun S2) I don't know how likely that is though, since they waited a year and a half between Shana S1 and S2, and S3 is coming at least two and a half years after S2. (longer than that if Shana S3 isn't coming this fall) And even Index S1 and Railgun weren't back-to-back.

So while I'm certainly open to Index and Railgun S2 coming sooner, unfortunately I wouldn't count on Index S2 until next year, and 2012 for Railgun S2.

but what year is ookami-san? and their is zero no tsukaima though it did had it's 3rd season already.

Though I'm saying the earliest possible for a s2 for index/railgun is 2011.

Ookami-san will air this summer. Seeing that Toradora! and Ookami-san are both GENCO/J.C.STAFF collaborations, it's probably safe to say that they've moved on from ZnT (which shares the same target audience) for the time being.

With Bakuman (Fall 2010, 25 episodes), the Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu OVA, Otome Youkai Zakuro, and presumably Tantei Opera Milky Holmes coming up, J.C.STAFF has a pretty full plate.

Now I'm wondering more and more for the series that still goes ongoing even if it tires me to watch it again and again while the other that should be given chance and time to be aired aren't haven't even got the chances.

Just to let everyone know.

While I don't have anything about the this month's chapter of the manga yet, someone scanned a page from this month's dengeki daioh that promises that next month's issue will have a big railgun related announcement.

Usually, when they write that sort of thing, it's anime related. So people on 2ch are speculating about a Railgun OVA or OAD.
