This TIP was translated long before Tsubasa came out so we had a lot of time (at least a year) to think on this beforehand. The person we think Bern is most likely writing to is Featherine Augustus Aurora because Bern mentions a "disease" and Featherine's near creator witch status makes her sick in sense and she has to prevent the symptoms with those discs she wears. There are theories like Sayo Yasuda being Shannon's full name for example that we've deduced from hints that aren't confirmed either. So this probably IS the answer to your question, but like that theory it's not confirmed in the slightest.

Incredibly late to be asking this question (I just thought of this, even though I read EP6 a long while ago), but can someone explain Beatrice's reasoning in EP6 during her duel with Erika? I remember Kanon saving Battler and then hiding in the closet, but didn't Beatrice say that, although he stepped in the room, he wasn't anywhere in it by the time Erika was done checking every spot she could think of? I'm pretty sure she sealed herself in with the duct tape as well, and it wasn't broken when she looked back. Could someone explain the situation with human reasoning?

Beatrice didn't explain it with a "human reasoning", Beatrice was fighting on the witch's side and gave a magical explanation: Kanon disappeared through magic.

Finding the human (and real) explanation was what Erika had to do, but she ultimately failed.


The real explanation was never told, but it is believed by most people that "kanon" disappeared simply because he's a personality and not a human being. So the human that was "kanon" when entered, stopped being "kanon" after hiding in the closet.
