If Lucy would use her spirits in the right combination she would pretty much own at this point. I like that she's writing a novel but I think the funny thing is, if she published her letters it would sell way better.

She's supposed to be the main lead.

Rips off Nami my butt. She's practically the oppossite of Nami in every way in terms of personality. Just because she's the main female in the manga doesn't mean she's ripping off anything. To me she's a solid character who at this point only needs to get serious to inflict some major problems for a lot of enemies. If she used her celestial spirits right she'd be a major threat.

Feisty could apply to practically every female in the manga. Oversexxed? Erza wears some very questionable things throughout. What major Manga of this type doesn't have oversexxed characters, there are even male characters like that.

Bulma is usless in DBZ, has no training whatsoever.
Nami can fight, but she's one of the most self centered greedy people on the crew. Unless someone is in an extreme circumstance, like almost dying or going to, then she helps.
Sakura is a competant Ninja from the very beginning, losing battles to overpowered oppenents is understandable.

Lucy's back story, her abilities and the keys she's obtained set her apart. Sure she has to work on her magic and spells, but it's more about the keys to gain power. Her personality and backstory are so different from any of those characters I don't know how you can come in here and say that with a straight face.

Sakura is oversexxed? I didn't know ironing board-shaped female Rock Lee clones were sexxed at all. Also Sho, if you don't like the main characters since they're so predictable according to you, why are you here anyway?

I doubt it will happen, but i kinda want the story to focus on her for a little bit.

This is kinda how i wish the story would go now:

-Lucy becomes the focus. She travels the East for...something, encountering the dark guilds and ogre mages along the way and all that stuff. I kinda want her to leave the guild, maybe so not to get them in trouble in case she comes across some bad enemy. And maybe a couple members, but not Natsu, Erza and Gray, join her. She's my favorite character, so it'd be cool to see even more of her. For a little while though, not like 30 chapters.

But, this is my prediction of what really will happen.
-Lucy will have her story in the 7 years explained, and Gray and Erza too. Maybe Natsu a little. Then they'll probably search for Zeref or take down the #1 guild.

Personally i'd wish for what i want to come true, but i'm about 99% sure something like it won't since this is a shounen manga, and having a female lead is very rare. And her leaving the guild probably won't make much sense since the title is Fairy Tail. Plus it'd be weird breaking up Natsu & Lucy, they're kinda always together.

sergel02 i think they already used southern cross, Lucy wanted to find info about Leo. Which basically means that most of them have very specific non-battle uses.

I think the Eagle is a good one to have. None of her spirits fly and it would help her. I'd like it if Lucy somehow became a real threat who was as good at fighting as the rest.

I find it funny how alike they look to others. First FT it looks like OP now it's Fullmetal

P.S. I know it's from fullmetal, but it's really hard to tell because when someone said it was Lucy, I thought it was for a second.

Edit: Even going back it's strikingly similar. I think it might be the shades of yellow match-up well for both characters. Hairstyle too.

If only she weren't covering her eyes. Winry's baby blues would be a dead giveaway in contrast to Lucy's amber eyes.

Lucy is also slightly more plump than Winry. They're both beautiful though. I actually edited a picture of Lucy and gave her blue eyes before.

And yeah before I asked here I examined the hairstyle of the picture a lot to be sure and they are very much alike both have "less" hair on their right side

I like Lucy's character but I wish they would make her a bit better in combat the giving her that Celestial whip Fleuve d'etoiles was a nice start but I'm hoping she gets a set of celestial dragon keys there is Draco the dragon and hydra and hydrus the female and male water snakes.
