The illustrations look great! I've been interested in Eve's character since the last two volumes, so I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen with her this volume.

I actually thought this might happen after the last volume. Considering what happened to her, I wouldn't be shocked at all if she got fired from her other job.

Spoiler for Volume 11: Eve really did lose her job, and was also kicked out of the Ignite house. Seems like she only came to work at the school as a way to try and get back what she lost. After the previous volume's incident, the country is strengthening the military, and this includes changing the academy to focus more on military training. Eve's father is behind this as the head of the more militant faction in the government, and even sent one of his people to take over as the new headmaster. His intention seems to be to make the Ignite house the new royal family, since they are actually distant relatives of the royal family themselves. Eve's father is also behind the Heavens Cross Court thing from Volume 8.
