Catarina is enjoying the smooth sailings of no longer having to worry about Doom Flags, and even the Bakarina Council is just chilling and having fun. She spent all season trying to avoid those Doom Flags and now she can finally enjoy herself through farming, eating sweets, and spending time with her friends .

Geordo and Keith still get along swimmingly, I see. And of course Bakarina still mistakes everything for friendship .

Seeing Catarina in her old life and Acchan in yukata's briefly was a nice surprise .

Bakarina was hoping so much for a classic Japanese Festival, but what she got instead looked on the surface more like a Victorian party...although good food is still good food .

Bakarina just can't help but make a spectacle of herself .

What wonder "Women's Intuition" that basically sees romance among love rivals who are secretly competing for you. What a blissful and oblivious world Catarina lives in .

Sophia is still trying her hardest to help her Nicol win Catarina's heart so she can nab Catarina as a sister-in-law, and admittedly the two acting and exchanging love confessions was pretty effective .

It's good to see Raphael again, and teasing a magic job for both Catarina and Maria. Maria wants to become worthy to stand beside Catarina forever while Catarina knows she's too much of a mess to make it as a royal so she wants to delay marrying Geord as much as she possibly can even without a Doom Flag. And Maria's happy at the prospect of her and Catarina being together in their professions (and Raphael seems to have realized that as well) .

Geordo and Alan are getting into a brotherly squabble over Catarina and how close Alan is with her when their other two brothers walk in with their good-looking fiance's. Odds are probably that they'll end up falling in love and doting on Catarina too at this rate, and Susana is already implying she wouldn't mind getting a little intimate with her (and who wouldn't take her up on that offer?). I don't trust Jeffrey since he's voiced by Takehito Koyasu .

The new Opening is a fitting successor to the original, with a fun, upbeat, showcase of the ladies and gents dressed to their finest to welcome Catarina and showcasing how Bakarina is a standout among the girls, able out-eat the guys when it comes to sweets, and needs Anne to take care of her. We see the new characters introduced at the end, Maria and Alan being bros(?), some fantasy imagining from Sophia, some characters in a dungeon(?), the new characters from the magic job Catarina is about to get, and Geordo, Keith, and a new character trying to kiss Catarina. Definitely a promise of plenty of hijinks this season .

The recap was unneeded but it was brief so it's fine.

It was nice to see Catarina and the rest of the cast again. Every character got a bit of screentime in this episode, so everyone should be pleased.

Catarina is in completely uncharted territory now. She's avoided the bad ends from the game and feels safe because of that. She's still being more careful than I thought she'd be, trying to find a way to break her engagement with Geordo because she'd make a terrible princess.

At least we got to see the Bakarina Council recap it while they're just chilling .

I'm not surprised she thinks that way .

Catarina avoided her worst possible ends from the game so things should be smooth sailing for her here, but I doubt things will be that simple for our dumb noblewoman.

LOL she's still as dense as ever with the underlying jealousy from both men and women interested in her. now she has to deal with another 2 men and one woman ie Susanna.

It's been a while, but as always I'm amazed by how dense this girl is. The world has seen many a dense harem protagonist, but Catarina is right up there with them. Of course her being so incredibly dense despite attempting to be genre savvy and avoiding doom is part of the humor. If she ever gets a slight understanding of what has developed around her...that inner council might have a meltdown .

I really wonder what possible ending the story has in mind with Catarina though. The amount of people gunning for her are numerous and in a variety of big deal positions. Although honestly I could see her ending up with Maria . They do have quite the talent in terms of creating a mood and world of their own like that .

There's a brief recap within it, but it's mostly an adaptation of the first quarter of Light Novel 3.

Just try asking that to her parents. Thier daughter does the tasks of commoners and has a bad habit for zoning out or saying weird stuff quite often. She doesn't always act like a lady of high class in public. LOL

I’ve heard comments from some source readers that Hamefura’s content from this point is not as good as the 1st 2 volumes (which the 1st anime season adapted).

Hamefura’s original webnovel was written as a conclusive short series, which fit nicely into 2 published light novels. Then due to popular demand, the author continued writing Hamefura as light-novel exclusives from Vol 3 onward.

Some have criticized the later volumes as a rehashing of the original content’s story beats, with less character development then they were expecting.

That's what I've heard too. That doesn't mean it won't be entertaining though.

Yes, its more of the same jokes as before, but I laughed at them so they're actually good. You can put that on the box set.

Also, more of Koyasu's prince please. He was hilarious.
