As Nashetania said and as you saw in the pictures during her speech, there was 3 saints (female) and 3 warriors (male) the first time . The saints were Ice, Sun, and Fire. Second was Blade, Time, Thunder, Wind, Salt (so 5 saint and only one warrior). Everything is as Nashetania said. hen Nashetania didn't pronounce the word "saint" in front of the rokka's name, that means it wasn't a saint. It's as simple and clear as that. So anyone other than Saint is basicall ythe same as Adlet : a warrior, with different weapons or a single one, it's not like it matters.

I enjoy this so far and look forward to more. For Adlet another thing making him good to be bad guy is the fact he wants to kill the Demon lord so bad. To find out the only reason you have the option to kill what you have been wanting to kill is because it gave you a fake seal.
I happen to love the bunny ears Dorking though Im partial to bunnies. ![]()

![]() but from the prison explanation it seems the "goddess" was just the first hero to get the flower mark, which with the next generations was given to 6 heroes instead of only 1 Last edited by zeando; 2015-07-06 at 10:32. |

The animation and music is solid so far, and the princess seems somewhat interesting, but it's too early to comment on the rest. If Adlet becomes smarter later on (I find him a bit inexperienced and dumb right now), and if the Majin is more than just a one-dimensional monster, then this can become a pretty awesome epic adventure. The fact that the setting was changed is not exactly a good sigh though.

@Zefyris. Sorry for underestimating your awareness. Anyway, I hope it was useful for others to realize the complexities here, too. Quote:
For me, the conversation with the "maid" was not tedious at all, and in fact was one of the most enjoyable parts of the episode. Not so much for the information as for the maid herself, her voice and attitude, and because it seemed clear that the maid must be more than she seemed -- the princess's maid, at the very least. And when he commented that security was so lax that even a maid could get in, that was a strong clue she was the princess herself. Hair and eye colour sealed the deal.

I wasn't asking for an apology lol.
BTW, did someone notice that nashetania was having a hard time repressing her laugher when adlet was doing his speech in front of the goddess' statue ? (around 6:33, in the background). I found that was a nice touch from the anime staff when I caught her doing that lol xD.

although if this is set in a sort of Mesoamerican setting, native peoples weren't known for being particularly hairy, that could also explain the lack of beard growth. It could have taken that old warrior from the tournament his whole life to get that much beard.

Wow, this was a great first episode. This was the first show that I saw this season that I did not know anything about, and it delivered in strides.
I can't believe this thread has already talked about a spoiler concerning a traitor. It's only the first episode with only 2 characters introduced, and there is talk about something that I had not even the hint could be happening.

That's offsite information, and definitely not what has already been shown in the anime. At the very least, it should be under spoiler tags. I'll leave it to the mods to decide if it is content that should be discussed in the anime thread at this point. It definitely was not what I was expecting to find out at this point.

-official anime key visual (like the picture MAL use for this anime) -Official Trailer -Opening (including the lyrics IIRC) -Ending -Official Synopsis -Official Anime website -Official Conference available on youtube since more than one week All of them are telling you there's 7 heroes. I think that's enough for most peoples to have noticed. And there are indeed a lots of peoples here and there who already started speculatingeven though the others have yet to be introduced. Those peoples AREN'T LN readers, and they didn't read LN spoils, either. It's the wish of the anime studio for peoples to know of that plot element from the start. This is most probably to appeal about the fact that this isn't just a simple generic heroic fantasy plot, and avoid peoples dropping it for being generic before they can bring that plot point in that will change everything. I don't think this can be considered a spoiler.

Yes, I noticed that there were 7 heroes as well, so my thoughts were that one of them could be a side-kick or a helper. Heck, one of them could have been one person split into two. There really was no information in the episode itself to state anything.
Spoiler policy can be reviewed here and here. Of note, this specific policy applies here.

^ I guess somebody who created that rule was rather thinking about some informations posted about episode before it was aired, or maybe some contents taken for example from background of working studio photo, whatever. But there is a nice thing called "common sense", when all stuff given by studio is just shouting at you "there is impostor here" (seriously, older version of official site http://rokka-anime.us/ had even a big opening add with "There is Imposter amongst them"), there is no need to hide it.
Also, here you got introduction from site. Quote:
Anyway, if you are posting rules, then I post those from the same source: Quote:
