OK, that is for episode 8, which is in 2 weeks. Episode 7 is coming up this week, and it will be shown on time. It looks like MBS will show episodes 8 & 9 together on the 29th. It's up to Crunchyroll to decide when they will show it, since this change does not seem to affect AT-X.

Wow I did not expect this series to be so mystery heavy, gives me some DanganRonpa vives. This better be 24 episodes or get a 2nd season, it's way too interesting

Well... As far as I know, it's gonna be only 1-cour, with no idea so far if there's gonna be a 2nd cour in the close future...

What would have made sense would be to build a small fort next to the temple, inside the pillars, and regularly resupply it. And keep a few soldiers there, in rotation with the border fort. When the fiends become too numerous to travel, they can communicate with signal fires.

Point is to save a humanity - he can get water from rain or dew or stream, food from hunting around temple maybe? Maybe there is a small hiding place within pilars with food, whatever, this is a minor detail, if he die but help to save humanity that's a sacrifice.

Anyway, rotations, soldiers around, signal fires around place supposed to be top secret doesn't sound like a good idea.

And get killed by one of the fiends trapped within the barrier. Or maybe never reach the temple at all because, again, fiends.

If he dies, the barrier goes down. If that wasn't the case, sure, go all kamikaze to trigger the barrier and to hell with the rest.

All the soldiers already know (which is why a simple private explained things to the Braves). And it's pretty much just them and the fiends out there anyway. Signal fires must be limited, yes, but other than that...

Like I said, the real risks are that the soldier never reaches the temple, and that he dies too soon after bringing up the barrier. Having a few people with a year's worth of provisions in place solves both problems.

I'm surprised that Nashetania didn't defend Adlet more properly...

She knew that he disrupted the tournament and wanted to become a Brave. She knew that he was jailed in her castle for doing that. He received his crest when he was jailed.

That outright should dispel most suspicion about him...

Though I realize this line of questioning can be flawed as well, starting with fundamentally breaking the author's set up that has been told to us from the start that one of the seven is the imposter. I don't know man.
Two imposters? That's as bad as releasing three pigs numbered 1, 2, 4. The premise of the story would be a complete lie. Although, I did check and there are 6 volumes out. I guess if this mystery is going to be solved now, there needs to be something for the next five volumes... unless they somehow make it out of this without figuring out who the imposter is, which would suck for us, imo.

if both Mora and Hanz were traitors everything would make perfect sense, they team up kill one brave, set another one up and kill him/her by other people hand than finally it would be 2 against 3 and Mora being able manipulate Chamo, flawless victory would be assured. They would have definitely knowledge, means and skills pull out such thing.

As for Nashetania, it's not like she saw him in moment when he got seal, so there is no way she had anything to say that could help him. Plus, even if she want believe in him, it's pretty difficult thing to do considering he is apparently only person who could activate barrier.

Yeah but how could he have faked his seal from within the prison?
Its not like his seal is at a place she wouldn't have noticed previously.

They all know that... Some part were made public and even Fremy and Goldof knew it even though both were travelling when it happened. And for the rest, Adlet told that when he explained his circumstances to all the others in ep5.
And I seriously don't see how that would dispel any suspicion about him compared to how heavy are the proof against him. If anything, him disturbing the sacred tournament and using dirty tactics is working against him by giving him bad reputation here :/.

Hide something so small on one body is not that difficult (all he would need is eat some indigestible capsule with it inside for example) plus he was in prison at least month that's plenty of time secretly deliver it here.

She visited Adlet while he was jailed in the castle. She freed him as well after seeing that he was chosen as well. While in Jail (in the castle... I just rewatched episode 1), she shack his hand (which ultimately got the mark). She could clearly see that there was nothing on it. When they all received their mark, she rushed to see him and saw that he just got it.

I think it's pretty obvious that she knows that Adlet is legit.

She was probably too shocked to put her thoughts together though. I hope that she defends him properly the next time his life's on the line!

Claiming something is one thing. Having someone credible backing up your claim is another.

"Faking it" while inside that jail was a weird idea. If the Princess didn't come, other people might not have taken him seriously. I mean, even when he showed his crest, one of the guard tried to restrain him (or attack him...).

yep, for a world detailed so much in the previous episodes some parts are lacking
like the doors supposedly staying open for no good reason (only apparent reason is seal powers are very narrowly limited and works only one time, there weren't better saint powers to get used to create the security of the barrier temple?)
or as you noted, better ways to manage the barrier which aren't only based on having the ones who activate it having to sacrifice themselfes in the act or having to kill themselfes to deactivate it

given how unpratcical and how many problems that barrier is creating instead of solving them, maybe they should have kept it for the next wave, when hopefully it would have been developed more and maybe be more useful instead of getting used more by fiends than by humans :/
unless.... that faulty structure was developed/designed by the fiend side... given how they managed to create fremy it wouldn't be so far fetched for them to have gained control over the king of the gwenbier nation before, or maybe they killed them and replaced them with a disguising fiend ages ago (random guessing, but that barrier structure is really too awfully designed to be taken seriously, it works far better as brave trap than a fiend wall/block)

1. No she saw him "have it" not to "get it" so she can't know whether it's real thing or not.

2. Which "people you mean, Guards? Their opinion doesn't matter (he could and fully intended break out of prison, not trying convince anyone). Other braves? He is no more suspicious than Hanz and without him being set up (assuming he is not unknowingly agent himself) they couldn't make any rash conclusion. Even less as having Nashe believing him would give him more credibility.

3. Yes, she was shocked, but unless she solve mystery or find culprit, she doesn't have way defend him.

I can image a reason. What is the worst case? The worst is when somebody sneaks in, alters something, and disappears with no trace or hides inside waiting.

Having "single use" doors prevents that.

That's off course if barrier really goes down if that person is killed.
Having people all the time sound good, but what if some of them were traitors? Then it become the worst case.

All soldiers know it just now, but if this information leaked years before Majin awakening, then it would be a problem.

Anyway, this was just sort of "private initiative" of king and some Saints, I guess they have been happy that they had found the idea how to help Braves. Who said they couldn't make some mistakes, also very secretive king wanted to keep it in secret. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

this series mystery makes my head explode... so much to think about.

but here's something interesting, what if there's "no fake"? or "multiple fake"?

all we know is there's "suppose" to be 6 Braves, but remember it was originally one that turn to 6, who knows, it might be some sort of glitch that made this time 7. (cause there's technically no one to manage the chosen system... it's on automate)

or there are multiple fakes to gang up and disrupt the real braves into killing each other. (cause no one suspects that maybe some of the REAL braves got killed off after the chosen)
IE: Loli and Hair dude, they're the ones making each other looks like the Fakes the most.

Doesn't really matter much by now that if Adlet is the fake or not... because we know he's out to defeat the Demon King.
That pretty much says he isn't the traitor even if he's the fake.
