Well, since we've had some Gigant Battle news dropped in here... might as well throw this out there...

One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 - Shinsekai has officially been announced for the Nintendo DS

Spoiler for Size:

Quote:
- Mugiwara post time-skip.
- 40+ playable characters (Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Akainu and Kurohige confirmed).
- 100+ support characters.
- Grey Terminal and Under the Sea stages.
- Available fall 2011 in Japan for Nintendo DS. (which means we can import and play! )
- According to the website, all the supports are seen except Vivi, Urouge, Oda, and Pandaman.
- Caimie, Hacchi or Hancock don't seems to have their post-Time Skip outfits.
- Some aesthetic changes, the character picture and name seem to be gone, and the flames on the special bar have been changed to steering wheels with fists...

With it y'know... NOT being on the 3DS... that means we can still import~

Heh, I like how the game is subtitled "New World", despite the fact that the series hasn't actually reached that point yet (even in the manga).

Anyways, since this game takes place post-skip, I wonder if that means we'll see post-skip characters like:

Spoiler for manga:

Post time-skip straw hats looks so good, especially Nami.

& yeah, it's on the DS, so that means import job!

Well, if you look at one of the backgrounds in the screenshot, you'll see the Kraken from the Fishman Island arc.... so that sorta kinda confirms that we'll atleast be up to there for characters and stages~

Just thought I'd bump this up to let everyone know that the EU release of this game was delayed to Feb. 12, 2012.

Though, most of you probably know this, seeing as it was SUPPOSED to be released Nov. 1~

Thought I'd bump this up, seeing as this seems to be a big deal regarding the EU version of Cruise SP. Now... this has been floating around since the EU trailer for the game was released... that there was only Episode 1 shown in the trailer, compared to Japan's trailer which had both Episode 1 and 2 shown in the trailer. Now what's going around is that EU's Unlimited Cruise SP will be seperated into the 2 episodes again, much like it's Wii counterpart.... seeing as all that was in the trailer was Marineford and Episode 1.

I'll try to keep this updated on the matter, seems a stupid move by Bandai Namco if true~

Thought I'd atleast come in an confirm that the EU of One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP IS just Episode 1 and the Marineford mode. Thought I'd also post up the ratings for the EU butchered version here...

Metacritic 49%
Official Nintendo Magazine UK 60%
Gamespot 40%
Eurogamer 30%
Meristation 60%
3DJuegos 63%

Also, Ep. 2 officially confirmed not to release on 3DS.

Such a shame to hear it's only Ep1. I'd love to hear the official reasoning behind that.

My copy should arrive this week.

As far as I know, it was because Nintendo only allowed Namco Bandai to used the 2GB card instead of the 4GB for the EU release, making space an issue. Not sure why there's no Ep. 2 to be release~

Makes one wonder why they even bothered to release it in the Europe in the first place.

Hey now, thought I'd bump this thread in light of some interesting news: Remember how only half of this game would be released in EU territories, with no apparent plans to release episode 2? Well, looks that may not be the case much longer.
