Spring 2016: Your expectations and anticipated series

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk S2, Netoge, Flying Witch, Bakuon!, and that Danmachi OVA and the Hibike! Euphonium Movie.
Pan de Peace seems cute enough. I'm almost tempted to blindly dive into Hundred.

High anticipation: Flying Witch; Concrete Revolution 2; Ushio to Tora s2. Anticipation: Mayoiga; Kanojo to Kanojo to Neko - Everything Flows; 12-sai; Hai Furi. Curious: Kuma Miko; Anne Happy; Sansha Sanyou; Tanaka-kun; Knocking on the walls of.... Maybe: Bakuon; Sakamoto desu-ka; Pan de Peace; Macross Delta; Wagamama High Spec. Carryovers: Mahoutsukai PreCure; Nijiiro Days. **** Definitely the high anticipation series are the main interest for me. Possible sleepers are the moment? I think Mayoiga, Hai Furi and Kuma Miko perhaps....

Will watch most of the things they put in as well sequels of shows I liked and carryovering AssClass season 2 (even though I put it on hold long ago). However, I certainly hold some caution to Kabaneri of Iron Fortress simply because of how things will go over time, despite having some good high hopes I had for it.

Really looking forward to Jojo and Concrete Revolutio next season. My Hero Academia sounds good so that too. Joker Game sounds like something I'd like so definitely that. I'll be checking out Ace Attorney too mainly because of the hype surrounding it. With all that being said, I'll be checking out the others too as usual and cut down to the good ones out of them. But the mentioned ones I'll be seeing to the end.

So far, these are the ones I'm going to watch for sure from this season:
- Beyblade Burst It's the return of Beyblade in animated terms - and although the premise does look like as simple as always, I'm interested to know what will happen in this new coming - Boku no Hero Academia Probably one of the most anticipated animated series "adaptated from a eponymous manga" of the season for me - great voice casting so far, the animation from the latest PV seems to do justice to its original source, etc... - Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou - The Last Song - 2nd part/season So happy that this will continue pretty soon: can't wait to find out what will happen to the characters in the end - a pity it's such a underrated animated series by anime fans in general - Kaitou Joker - 3rd (& 4th?) season The funniest (+ efficient) thief of the block is back for a new season - looking forward to more adventures - Magi: Sinbad no Bouken - TV version Part of it has been covered in OVA - but the most recent visual key gives out the clarification that the adaptation is going further than what was done in animation before. Can't wait to see the new part in action - Shounen Maid Wacky and yet intriguing permise (a elementary school kid (whose mother (that had as a life motto "no pain, no gain") has deceased) is found by a young man who says it's his uncle and wants him to live in his house. After knowing him and and also seeing him cleaning up his house, this uncle decides to keep him as a housekeeper... one that has to wear a maid outfit) with some good animation I'll take a look at these following series - but those aren't certain yet: - Battle Spirits: Double Drive - Bungou Stray Dogs - Kiznaiver - Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

Hmmm.... No sequels that I'm definitely going to be following this season, so onto the originals:
Mayoiga has the potential to be a great mystery series, the mysterious uninhabited mountain town thing is definitely giving me a Higurashi vibe. Joker Game depicts the lead up to World War II from the point of view of an IJA intelligence unit which seems to be the antithesis the rest of the Japanese military at the time. Could be interesting. |
