Now they have to take on a literal kingdom with half-assed tactics and morale, as well as having left their comfortable lifestyle tools behind (like baths, cooking, beds) which will only increase stress.

And Momokawa was the only one who had any chance of deciphering Goma stuff like their runes. Which will more than likely come in great use if not be outright necessary.
