So probably this is old and has been posted on the Image Thread, but I haven't been seeing it to avoid EP4 spoilers.

You know that the Umineko character designer did other shows right ? (Duh..)

Well one of his recent shows is,

El Cazador de la Bruja

which translates to..

The Hunter of the Witch or in other words The Witch-Hunter

You need to actually download the demo version of the game from the official Japanese website. We only distribute a patch, not the full version of the game.

Then, just put the patch folder into the demo folder, following the instructions on the readme.

So... I'm confused, Ryuukishi07 isn't the artist for Umineko?

He's talking about the Umineko anime.

And for anyone wondering the Yoko Kikuchi is the character designer in question.

Yeah, it looks like it was added by Himeya to appease us unlucky ones whose orders got delayed. The charm has it's own little packaging and is probably one of many Umineko merch items. I'm thinking it's fitting that they chose the Pawn for the charm.

Anybody know why some of us can't access the first tea party in the demo? The game runs fine aside from that, so I don't understand why this in particular doesn't work.

Ah...that would be because there's a bug in the latest version of the demo patch.
It's a bit tricky, but we should have a fix within the next 24 hours or so.

This affects everyone who downloaded the patch for the demo version.

EDIT: I mean, 24 minutes or so.
Just move this nscript.dat into your patch folder and replace the old nscript.dat.
This shouldn't affect your save files. The Hidden Tea Party will show up as soon as you complete the normal Tea Party, just like in the original demo. The normal Tea Party shows up when you complete the main game.

We'll update the main patch soon too.

I know this has been answered tons of times here but im not going to read the last 20 pages...

My evil vista runs the ep3 bgms ( the few ones i can hear) with a lag... I managed to read ep3 patiently but now I want to re-read it but the text is also enormously slow.... in baka-tsuki appears something of the old nscripter.... can you please explain me in a simple way how to solve this problem?

Basically, you only need to download the old onscripter from this link.
Then, just overwrite your onscripter with one you've just downloaded.

Some news:

1) I'm finally done with a proper image guide, that will help those who are still stuck with the usual "black screen" glitch.
Please have a peeck at the following picture, it should makes things clearer with actual visual support instead of plain text.

Don't hesitate to comment about it (we will most likely that his picture for our future releases)

2) Chapter 2 of episode 4 is done. This represents roughly 7% of the whole game, and 21% of the first partial patch we will release.

ep 4 sounds really big. and i am really gratefull you want to transelate this great game.
it has been such a pleasure to read the first tree episodes

through i am terrible to the guess work and thinking. i have almost given up and is just enjoying the story on the fantasy side now, while giving some halfhearted guesses sometimes
