Just read the scanlated manga and enjoy it since the artist for the manga, Kawakami Taiki, is also the artist for Maoyuu Maou Yuusha Gaiden manga.

I too like the composition for the manga. I like especially how right at the start, they choose to show Yatori sitting back to back with Ikta and illustrate their bond. It actually depicts them leaning on each other. This is used in the novel but at a much later scene. There appears to be some translation errors however. I didn't check the raws but some of the info is different from what I remembered.

Anyway, here's the last part of v5:
Spoiler for v5 last chapter key points:

Spoiler for my thoughts and speculations after reading volume 5:

Anyway, I surprisingly found the time and already one-third into volume 6, the development is definitely interesting, but 80% of it so far is dialogue. I have to stop here tonight as the words started flying by my head. Too tiring to read so much text-heavy stuff in one sitting.

I really hope that Ikta and Yatori ends up together. The spoilers so far make me really like the two of them as a pair. (Or maybe add Chamille for a OT3)
