Seriously the Dialogue is just win in this episode got a number of laughs out of me, I think they should have used "The Mail that Leapt Through Time" though
Though I Okarin's dream was pretty strange I wonder what it means and also still wondering about what Moeka wants with the computer hmm.

After watching ep1 I put this show away for a while. I was wondering how it's going so far? Most adaptions are pretty terrible though Steins Gate seems to look pretty solid.
The scientist whose name I don't remember is quite annoying me though. Does he get .....better or is that how he always is? Also if I finish the anime, will the game be ruined forever for me? (IF I ever play it which is very unlikely) |

If you've played the game beforehand, it'll help you understand things and trivia that was insufficiently explained in the anime, and sometimes the scenes were quite different from the game so it's actually fun.
I can't wait till we get to the plot twist episode. Also, as someone above said, the game is actually quite linear with several "back-out" ending on the way. I kinda want those endings to be animated with something like a mini-omnibus format. Btw, just my personal preference, I prefer the anime chara-design for Mayuri, but I prefer the game chara-design for Kurisu. Btw, a little trivia, in the anime, Mr.Braun wears apron that says "I <3 CRT". In the game, it's (in Japanese)"Braun Tubes Moeee"

The dialogue in this show is simply fantastic. And Episode 6 demonstrates this as well as any episode in this show does.
Very witty. Very amusing. Very endearing. It's great to watch an anime show where its humor is almost entirely verbal and not the much more commonplace slapstick. The plot does proceed at a snail's pace, but the dynamism of the characters and dialogue more than make up for it. And the artstyle and animation is superb as usual. Steins;Gate continues to be my favorite anime of the Spring 2011 season.

Alright, thats it. I'm declaring Steins;Gate as my anime of the season. The dialogue is just ridiculously entertaining and amusing. Even though we haven't even reached the meat of the plot, I'm enjoying this show way too much already. The plot may be moving in a slow pace, but I think its fine and the dialogue and character interactions more than make up for it.

They really do manage to get some fun dialogue into this series. Especially the chatting between Okarin and Kurisu is pretty entertaining. They really do mess with each other quite often.
Personally when seeing the jelly I had the worry that SERN might go around selling the jelly like failures of their experiments. Of course not possible since the bodies are ending up in random places in very different time periods. Though does make you wonder what might happen if they put jelly in there. Maybe it'll make super jelly or something random.

This series is not only becoming my favorite anime this season, but my most favorite TV show this season.
Yuri Field FTW! Really enjoyed this episode, as always Kurisu(tina) x Okarin banter is always enjoyable. Can't wait for Ruka to appear again, hopefully next week. BTW, what does Moeka means when she said FB? Facebook? |

^ Who knows? For all we know she could be talking about Facebook
Well since in the beginning of the episode, Moeka was texting someone named FB, I'm guessing FB is a person who's apparently important to Moeka.

I have not enjoyed so much dialogues and voice acting, since... Bakemonogatari, just brilliant... and we have hardly touched the main plot
In between, Moeka knew about the retro-PC, because of Chris' experiments? in other words, sending messages to the past??? Also if FB is FaceBook, it would be quite random Oh! and protective/guilty Okarin over Mayushii was really interesting, in the end he actually realizes that they are getting over their heads Still, I wonder about the events of the first episode, and was that zoning that Okarin experienced, but I guess it's too soon for that |
