You get to see the last episode 1 day before everyone else! Marathon starts at 11pm, ends at 6am (hour 30:00 ...) Chiwa, Jouji, and Minorin will be there. I fell out of my chair laughing after I saw this earlier today. I think I might be crazy enough to go to this if I'm in Japan AND if I can grab a buddy with melol no I won't be crazy enough. Sunrise wtf are you thinking .
What...I will man if I'm there....it's nothing.....

11pm to 6am is nothing compared to not sleeping for 24 hours...

That ANN review....
yep, that idiot Carlos. Move along.

Apparently he thinks C = 70%?

Lulz, check out this comment in the forum:

So in the end, Horizon's only slightly worse than Fate/Zero? I'll settle for that judgment.
hurray for a fan there.

I'm not denying that the execution in the first 3 episodes is "a mess" and quite a hurdle for the newcomers to grasp the plot, but seriously, once you get to ep4&5 it's not that hard to figure out what the main point of that 5 ep arc is.
Some people are just lazy and dumb.

Do i know why the Indian and the Incubus are there? No.
However in a class with a hipster ninja, half-mech dragon thingy, lesbian winged witches and various other colourful characters should I be concerned? No
People just love to nitpick when the series isn't easy to understand.

this season of Horizon is kind of weird in the sense that it's the prologue volume for a sequel. So you got to have all those background knowledge ready before you can fully move on

After looking at some of the novel's illustration, I realize that Neito has a huge amount of artwork. Hoping to see more of her screentime in the future.

Yeah, I strongly recomend anyone who failed to understand things the first episodes to rewatch them now when the connections are made between the foreshadowing.

Not that long, but I'm just really curious regarding how they're wording this.

Before we assumed it just ENDS season 1 with 13 episodes, but apparently season 1 is not really ending. This sounds just like a split cour if episode 14 and on continues starting April. Does this mean season 1 is still 26 episodes as intended and we're going to get another season of 26 episodes making this 52 episodes total?!?!?!

Ok I'm obviously looking way too much into this, but Accel World is supposed to be next April too and I'm still confident Studio 8 will be at least part of it.

That's as soon as it could be without continuing right away. Now it will only take a one cour break over the winter season and continue in the spring one.

52 episodes planed seems fine to me as that would cover the books out right now.

1 season break? That's good enough. I was thinking they'll let us wait for half a year or longer.

By the way, that announcement is soooooooo elusive. I decided not to read your post until I've read what's in that picture, and so I directed my eyes into that big column first. Was reading it and wondering what the connection with Conan and Ayumu is gonna be to Horizon. xD I was like huh? Oh daym, I was reading the wrong text. xD

This is just me having wishful thinking, but I hope Sunrise doesn't go with the "season" route in this scenario. It would be like Gintama and on and off and they would just animate the entire series so everything after would just add on to the pre-existing and Horizon series would end at like episode 200 or something .

Everyone don't get so hyped yet (I'm saying this more for myself than actually to anyone else). Besides Accel World (tentatively guessing for Studio 8), Manabu Ono still has the other Saki project that's scheduled for April as well iirc, so I still have no idea how everything will pan out.

so worst case scenario is they didn't finish this season in episode 13 and left last episode (episode 14) in 3 months gap?

^content-wise, I really doubt that. I mean 3 episodes left are plenty for the rest of the 1st arc imo. What's will just episode 14 accomplish?

Given the titles to the OST tracks, this isn't possible either~

People are speculating this might be just a single episode that kinda go over some of the missed funs that the anime has cut so far (but doesn't seem likely either given the wording), so ... we're all basically random guessing based on a single line.
There are complaints as to why this is the same time as Fate/Zero again ...

What does this have to do with Fate/Zero? Popularity and sales?

Either way, I hope they don't repeat what happen with Code Geass R1. A cliffhanger waiting for a whole season is not funny.
