In virtual life, most people want to be in style that they're lack or their true self which they can show it in real life ; )). The movie Ready Player One has a big and muscular guy in game but in real life, he is just a small body teenage (or younger) .

Sometimes I'm not sure if it's actually going for comedy or not (like M's fear of Pitou) but otherwise I'm enjoying the heck out of this show too. It gets too serious for a video game at times but at least it can disperse it with some comedy at the right moments, like LLEN's companion cube moment and the implausible reload.

To be fair, 'cute girl' doing <x> in pretty much any genre works (no matter how irrational).

It's not only that, the writing and characterization is actually good. It doesn't try to do much or overstretch, it just executes its premise really well. You could gender swap all the characters and outside of a few changes the story would still work. This together with the SAO world and setting (which is actually really interesting) makes for a very compelling story.

They said they're high-schoolers. Second year, as in 11th grade. Part of why they're all upset about being so tiny. If they were 13-14, they could say they'd grow, but at 17 it gets a bit harder to buy that.

I hope that in most online multi-player games that there are strong safety measures in place so that even a suggestion of a death threat IRL will be handled swiftly.

The LN makes it clear that she did it unconsciously. That wasn't a deliberate move: in fact her conscious mind would have rather been shot herself and lost than have let P-chan take the hits for her.

They're within the size range for Japanese women. On the short side, but not extreme. They just look even shorter than they are, because we keep seeing them as compared to Karen.

...That said, yes, they are short, and I don't mean to dismiss being short as necessarily being any easier than being tall.
