Tears come to my eyes fairly easily, usually tears of painful happiness at something rather sentimental. Most recently, it happened during the final episode of Lamune. Can't remember previous times: probably Air, probably Saikano, certainly KgNE, even somewhere in Marimite.

Uh oh... don't tell me Lamune is going to become dramatic..? I've been enjoying it's lack of any conflict so far. (only first 6 episodes have been fansubbed)

I haven't watched any anime that made me cry, except the episode of Paranoia Agent where

Spoiler:

Actually, now that I think about it.. when I was 10 or so, I cried a LOT when I read what happened in the last episode of Sailormoon, which was my favourite series at the time. I was sullen for about a week.

Gunslinger Girl always brings tears to my eyes- damn it's sad! Those poor girls are so mistreated and alone...*sob sob*

Actually, a lot of anime's bring me to tears. I'm very emotional and get so immersed in whatever one I'm watching; I really start to care so very much about the characters...

Never cried when watching anime but...

Kumo no Muko, Yakusoku no basho aka The place promised in our early days

That's the closest anime I've seen that can almost bring me to tears.

I've only really cried when watching Haibane Renmei, but oh boy that was crying, it would happen every episode.

Honey & Clover brought me to tears a few times, but that's the closest it got.

And I think that's all. I sound like a pretty cold-hearted person compared to most of people's posts.

There are at most 2 series which brought me close to tears:
Air
Kanon

Why do I keep posting Air and Kanon? Because they are that good...

Saikano = Pretty much cried throughout the whole thing (minus eps 1) Everyone was so ....human that you can't help but feel for them. Seeing them struggle to have a moment of happiness.... they just want to be oblivous to the harsh reality, but can't. Yeah, no matter how many times I watch it, I just get teary eyed.
Chrno crusade = the ending, enough said. XD
Full moon wo sagashite = when Mitsuki found out that Eichi-kun was..... yeah.
Fushigi Yuugi = When Nuriko ... T_T
Both the kenshin ova's = Noooo Kenshin!!!

yeah that's all i can think of at the moment

Love Hina...............I'm not sure why I cried a little during this one...I was almost to tears in the Christmas special, I think, but that's about it.

call me a big baby, but I'm always very emotional, not to mention a hopeless romantic, and being a relatively new but dedicated otaku...get the right series in front of me when I'm in the right mood, and there go the waterworks

How about you guys?

Sway: when posting please explain why the anime you chose makes you cry.
