^ Wow, I never thought that many people actually hyped for G-Reco. I mean, I know Gundam is popular, but damn. Did Age garnered this much expectation after its announcement? On the other hand, Fate/Stay Night being on top is a no-brainer .

Well... it is the first Tomino directed Gundam in some time, and set in the UC from Tomino's words, which likely has people excited .
Though I like to think I'm as equally excited for this as I am Try, if for entirely different reasons . Cool to see Fate/Stay Night taking the top spot .

Well neither do I , but you know Bandai prescreened first 3 episodes in August and then started streaming these 3 episode in September. It released first 10 minutes of episode 1 along with an interview with Tomino, they also put out a big number of PVs and judging by the number of controversial statements he has made, Tomino is making a lot of interviews. I think it's clear that Bandai is ardently trying to sell Reconguista.

He is obsessed with the franchise, if you go on twitter he's always posting pictures of model kits he's building or musing about his childhood watching Zeta Gundam which was a big influence on him. It seems like his other lifelong dream now that he's written for Kamen Rider. I think he might actually finish the whole thing in that case unlike Aldnoah which was like a consolation gig since it's almost kind of like the real thing. Is there any sign that he's kept up with the franchise after Zeta, or at least with any works in the UC? I'm also interested in knowing what models he's built . Gen would probably be a good fit for a Gundam series, not to mention all the popularity and attention that would bring, and he already has experience working on long-running, popular, and heavy merchandise franchises after writing Kamen Rider Gaim .
