Nothing compares to Looney Tunes for me. I also really like Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain (which actually goes with Animaniacs), it's so funny watching it now because I understand and catch a lot more than I did when I was young. Shameless plug to the Geography Song.
I have a bunch of favorites when it comes to animated shorts. Samurai is more cartooney than the other ones I have saved... It's so funny. For cartoon movie... Hmm, it's really hard to decide, but one of my favorites is Cats Don't Dance. Link'd to my favorite part of the movie. |

Nothing beats the good old Looney Tunes. It's amazing what a warped perspective I have on life due to the influence Bugs Bunny, et al had on my formative years. I've found myself quoting Bugs in business meetings. :P

Classics: Walt Disney Cartoons - Micky, Donald, Goofy...etc Looney Toons - Bugs Bunny, Daffy, Road Runner show...etc Popeye Garfiled Woody Wood Pecker Show Go Bots - from Hanabarbera Scooby Doo Care Bears Smurffs Simpsons - 1988!!! almost 20 years Others to many to name...but those are my top favs New Ones: Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Power Puff Girls (not the anime version) Samurai Jack Courage the Cowardly Dog DC cartoons - Batman, Superman, Justice League etc Others to many to name... Seems the NEWER ones are more violent than the old Classics

I liked some older ones a lot. In no particular order:
King Arthur and the Knights of Justice Gargoyles Spider-Man (1994 version) Conan the Adventurer Reboot Beast Wars I think that's about all I remember.

hmm my favs as a kid,
Scooby Doo X-men Power Rangers (counts too right, though not a cartoon) Transformers Simpsons Flinstones Jetsons Bird Man ( BIIIIIIIIIIIRD~ MAAAAN!~) Johnny Quest (the first series and later on the second) Space Ghost other words some non hanna barbera cartoons but further on all the old cartoons from them, i used to watch Cartoon Network all day when i was with my grand parents who had a dish on their rooftop then as a grew older and channels change Gargoyles Reboot Beast Wars Spider-man (1994) Batman Superman |
