It should be heading toward the end, since when and if Miroku gives the location of the past Miroku before the Day of Rebirth, when they go back, that'll more or less be the final battle(which they should easily win[aside from Miroku himself] since the enemy's side is weaker without those Illumina), but the whole "alien searching for a new body" plot point could extend the story at least one major/long arc.

Grana seems leagues above anyone else (besides Miroku) so I have a hard time believing Matsuri will be able to beat him on her own. Even Oboro, who seemed pretty damn strong, got his ass kicked.

It's true that the story could easily be extended but this really looks like a final arc to me. Villains are dying left and right (and pretty fast, too), and what is possibly the true villain of the story (the alien) has revealed himself/herself/itself.

Actually, the fact that the Aliens have revealed themselves could mean that if the author wanted, he can take the manga to the alien homeworld afterwards.

It could go both ways. The author won't be the one who gets to choose in Psyren's case anyway

My main reason for believing it's going to end after this arc is that Psyren has never managed to become popular. Its rankings have actually gone up a bit lately, but that's mostly because the new Jump series are totally bombing. It looks like it's going to be safe for a little while longer at least. How long? Hard to tell.

Actually, I recall that Grana stated that Matsuri at full power would be a good match for him back in CH. 70, so this should be a pretty epic battle.

I always wondered how Kagetora would fair if he ever made it to the future timeline where their powers would be moar.
I would expect if he lived through the the crisis and trained for them 10 years he would be pretty damn strong.

Hope just hope to god we don't see any beating around the bush when Ageha fights Miroku, none of that Bleach nonsense please

I'm a little disappointed that it's present Kage/suri that's fighting. Granted, with the whole plot device of Junas being weakened, it would be kinda demeaning to have future Kagetora beat the hell out of him.

But still, I wanted to see older Kage/Suri. With a child.

And I hope the series doesn't suddenly make Grana fall for Matsuri or something, there's certainly that vibe to how he's 'seeing' her.

Well thats the thing, Kagetora and Matsuri are both pretty damn strong back in the present and thats with their powers weaker but lets say they lived and trained for them 10 years till up to this point. They would easliy stand up to any of the commanders at their peaks.

The fact we don't see future vers of Matsuri and Kagatora is probably cause they would be too powerful for the most of the Star Commanders to handle.
I guess only Grana would fair evenly but considering how he just about fairs evenly with the current Matsuri, I'd hazard a guess he might not do well against a stronger Matsuri with extra 10 years of experience and training.

so bottom line yea doesn't really matter cause thats all just theory and whatnot, it's just onwards to what ever fights at hand but doesn't mean we can't talk about the possibilities

So Mithra is not only the one who's responsible for providing the Illumina Core to the W.I.S.E., she's also the one who awakened Miroku's dark side when he was still a test subject at the Grigori facility.

Vigo was easily killed by Mithra when his Illumina Core was removed by the latter, this makes me wonder what is the full capability of Mithra's power.

Also, Ageha finally reaches Miroku, whom just set his plans into motion. I can't wait to find out how the battle between this two will go in the next chapter.

Miroku and Ageha talks, Miroku noticed that Ageha still looks the same inspite they encountered each other ten years before and concludes that he and his friends are Time Travelers.

No.7 appears and tells Miroku that he is no longer her brother, Furious-ed.. Miroku told his past that She(No.7) betrayed him when he destroyed Grigori, No.7 tells her reasons that she doesn't want to be a "Complete Monster" by changing the world and killing lots of people.

Remembering that Miroku attacks his sister using his powers but Ageha saves her, No.7 thanked him and told that it is not necessary because it is only her Astral Body. Miroku despised Ageha saying that "He" is a Hindrance from getting his sister back and to his plans, Ageha angered by his actions released his Nova + Melchsee's power summoning Black Nova's surrounding him

He seems confused at the fact that he killed millions of people.

Black Nova looks pretty cool and very dangerous. There's a good chance Melchsee's door will go berserk like in the past, especially since Ageha seems to have lost it (he knows he can kill).

Honestly I'll wait until next chapter to say that for sure Ageha lost it, a guy can be really angry and not be out of control but Melchee's adds more uncertainty to it.

Whether or not he killed millions of people by his or the alien girl's will is debatable, but the fact remains he slaughtered quite a number when getting hold of Grana. What I think he's surprised about is that Ageha, someone who's also a psi-user, is getting angry over the lost lives of normal people.

Pretty much the chapter was Ageha's nova form fighting Miroku and beating him. Mithra shows up at the end of the chapter (her own body, not Marie's).

I just kind of found it funny how Ageha just snapped. I mean we've known how bad Miroku is for a while now. He manages to keep it together and then that one line just made him completely snap. Could get messy if Ageha completely loses control.
