I think the second Arc starts around epi 39 (2-3 ep. after the insane hospital episode, i still have stomach pains remembering that one :heh). It ain't as good as the first piece and

I begann Getbackers with the manga (the 3first Volume are out in France) and I did like it a lot... I did also see the whole anime...

From what I saw I did prefer the manga... The anime is still good, did like the Makubex part... wandering how it will be in the manga...

I want to get the manga, since the anime stops following the manga quite soon i think, especially seeing as how the manga is still being made (or was at least when the anime ended).

this anime is realy good and intersting, i watched entire 47 episodes in 1 week. it also got me adicted to other anime -_-

very good anime infact its one of my top 3 fav anime

Yeah, I am one of those who didn't stick with it, the story just didn't seem enjoyable to sit through, by the end I just ended up skimming the eps. But that's just me, I didn't like some of the characters that much, and that's kind of essential to enjoying a fighting anime.

The thing is that they decided to skip those mission and go straight into the mugenjou arc. After the miroku arc they dont have enough materials because they caught up with the manga so they start making up episodes. The tower art arc is suppose to be next with Toshiki and Lucifer as the main villains, but they cut that out and replaced it with that bit with Misaki. The manga is still currently running I believe and the chapters I have seen (up toward the end of mission 11, tower art is mission 8) has only shown Misaki in glimpses commenting on the prophecy of the storage.

A lot more. Actually the first season of the anime(ep1 -25) is an accurate representation of the manga (vol.1 - 10) but the 2nd half of the anime got butchered from the manga.

For example, the 2nd Mugenjou arc hasn't happened yet. Kurusu and the wind user guy hasn't revealed his power yet. Kazuki's old friend Toshiki was fought at a different place. The flame user girl was never there.

and of course the manga has
-more blood and fan service
-more story and depth

I still enjoyed the anime equally though.

Does somebody understand the ending from getbackers? Or did they just stopped airing the anime? Cus after the ending song, they showed a preview of the next episode, and a ending like this is kinda weird...

there was no preview, just them driving away to do another job...

No super duper ending because the manga goes on.

Not to mention the suck factor. It sucked bad. Whoever fansubbed it must not have been watching it, because it really sucked.
