the story is deep and detailed for sure. i think the real issue is the misleading tittle
is this by any chance the same author as vinland saga ?

Initial impressions were "WTF? That's got to be the weirdest scam thread title I've ever seen." *Click out of morbid curiosity* "It's an actual series!?!?"

Maybe I'll check this out later, but I wasn't a big fan of MonsterxMonster so I doubt it.

Pretty odd & amusing manga, I also like the artwork & random humor.

It helped that I have been playing the Dragon Quest V remake for the DS when I started reading this back then so appreciate seeing the places, characters, NPCs & monsters in another perspective.

So when I was playing, I actually talk to the "Bonfire guy" NPC whenever I pass him by.
