¿What does this have to do with C.C? Perhaps C.C will return to being mortal...(both characters return to what they truly were...i´m not sure where but i read that C.C wasn´t always inmortal...)

Before that we need proof that she is a God. If she is, why isn't V.V.? He can grant Geass too.
And, ofcourse, we need a master predictor to say that.

She doesn't need to be a god. If it is capable of killing a god, then it is surely capable of killing her. The fact they introduced it is a huge hint to what is going to happen.

It could be a hint of all sorts of things: why C.C. and V.V. are the only geass givers we've seen, what the Emperor is planning, why Jupiter is now a gas giant, etc. etc. etc.
