I still feel cheated. Half the clues were elements of the backstory made by the author, which makes them no clue in essence at all.

Like the Argo reference f.e. "It seems like some circumstantial and indirect link, but I tell you, it's the same!" Yea, well, a crane is also exactly the same as a swallow, it's just a lot bigger, and looks completely different. What a lousy clue, dammit ...

All in all, I still feel trolled to the extreme. And that makes panda very, very sad.

The author still gave us a glaring clue with his name. I mean, king of the end? Also Rakshasha? We should've probably linked him with Hindu mythology sooner and call out Yuga or Vishnu

Given the title of the next chapter, I'm sure the Argo connection will be elaborated in much greater detail.

I think Marduk was a good guess but once you reach a deity on the level of "king of gods," you can easily make connections to almost every pantheon. But then again, I suppose going from Marduk's fifty names to Vishnu's thousand names is only the natural progression.

In the original myth he actually fights a Devil King, wonders the world for a period of time, and is considered the perfect man.

Really it does fit with what the King of the End is supposed to be like.

By the way Rama is one of Indias most sacred dieties and he used the Brahmastra to kill Ravana
