Touma: Yes, you are. A normal player, even someone who could afford premium, would balk at the sheer expense of going all-premium shells, ESPECIALLY as it massacres one's credit balance.
Mow: Oddly enough, I don't see as many T-34-2s, even when I was playing my T-44. I think I ran into more Type 59s than it during my time at tier 8.

I mean, consider the Matilda: Most of the time you're facing opponents that are easily penetrated with regular ammo anyway. The majority of my tanks carry between 20000 to 25000 in premium ammunition; obviously with the higher-tier tanks that might not be more than four or five rounds, but any more than that is almost certainly going to be a money loss. My derpgun tanks have a higher proportion of HEAT, but even so it is highly unusual for me to fire more than 11 HEAT rounds in a single game. My KV-5 and Super Pershing have a bit more premium ammo loaded, but that's because they have weak guns and make enough extra cash that there's some cushion to the amount of money being flung out of the cannon. Even then I'll try to be careful with shooting first instead of relying on penetration. |

Sometimes it REALLY pays to be in a platoon with acquaintances who know what they're doing. Sheesh, these weekend events are hellish these days.
Oh well, last game for me in a while, at least ended on a great note: true 54%! Thanks to Sahin and Pen3 as usual for their patience (though admittedly I didn't run my T-54 this afternoon). The highlight of the afternoon however was when we ran into this platoon of 80% WR tankers, and what's worse, their names AND their tank names were purple. Ugh, it was a massacre no matter how hard we tried.

Since getting the PzIII/IV crew to three skills (and then focusing on the T-44 and M103), I haven't used the Pz S35 very much. It's gone from an all-time high win rate of 70% (at over 100 games) to about 62% now, since I had a string of Tier 5 MMs and...
...while doing this sort of thing is possible, many Tier 3 games have so many yokels in them that even killing over half the team yourself will still end in a loss. I have to give credit to that M3 Stuart for tagging along with me after I saved them from the Cruiser. The irony is that since I've started using binoculars on the S35 I've only gotten city maps with it. |

Oooh, ouch. You ran into Fulcrum. Very good players. Possibly the best competitive NA team in the entire game.
Actually, I think they *are* the best competitive team on the NA server. They're that good. I believe at least one member (Carbon Ward) can get about 95-96% winrate in public matches with his platoon. |

Just had a platoon session with Drake, it started off but then we had a four/five game losing streak luckily we still got some wins at the end so the winrate ended up positive at the end.
The highlight was this tense match. I suppose with the numerical advantage we should have just overwhelm the hellcat but all of us had low hp.

I guess I also burned through the line really fast. None of them are really worth keeping other than the ELC AMX and maybe the AMX 13 90. |

Thats it, i will get the batman for my next tier 10 tank, since everyone is talkin about it more than the T57 and E5 and 103 and t62a and Maus and E4, and other tanks. when i do, i'll blitz thru all the tiers ignoring them until i hit tier 10 XD.

This one was kinda tense. GuP-related commentary thrown in because it amuses me.
And yes, six kills but no Top Gun because the other guy had six kills with a derpgun. I started at the bottom of the hill northeast, pushed the Matilda up the hill to the bridge sniper position, watched as the town got beat up except for the six-kill Sherman, started driving back across to the top of the hill, watched our stupidass M3 try to jump the bridge, watched the enemy KV-1 blow up the M3 long before it got there, got to the top of the hill, it's now down to me and the Matilda at this point, fought the KV-1, M4, and PzIV... then drove to the other end of the map to scout the Priest with my face. Sixth Sense saved my life. Damage taken: Derpgun shot from the M4, 85mm shot from the KV-1, bounce from the KV-1 , glancing blow from the PzIV. Also, the Ram has 15 rounds of APCR loaded. Edited to add: This latest from the rumor mill: Super Pershing will have gun buffed. Last edited by Gravitas Free Zone; 2013-06-09 at 23:20. |

Tier 9 and 10 battles.
finally SP gets a buff, the gun it has is under powered at its tier... i've been using gold to do pen ability and dmg, cuz i'm lazy when it comes to aiming, and you don't get alot of time for aiming when ur out in the open too long.
