And yet, things like this happened before I think. The question is whose money is behind this premium re-release. If Nintendo wants this title and all of its features exclusively for the WiiU then the chances are slim for the changes to get to the other platforms. If, however, this was squareenix'/eidos' idea, then I'd expect the non-pad features to come to the other platforms, albeit at a slightly later date than the WiiU version.

After they teased "The Fall" some days ago I was quite disappointed with what they revealed it to be.

Hands down, it's a dumbed down spin-off on a mostly casual platform.

Yeah, should've known better not to expect too much. -_-
Has the WiiU version out yet? I'm not really following the news about it. If only the changes will also come into PC, it's enough to make me happy.

I actually would see it as a product for "more hardcore only"

Think about it, if the game is even 1/2 "in line" with the real deus ex, then there are dozens of functions you would need to learn to command on a touch screen, which we know are not the best for high caliber gaming.

You would have to be an real fan in order to give up your learned muscle memory/mouse work in order to play this game~.

I cant see the game easily playable with the small screen of an older iphone. So maybe its more of an ipad/iphone 5 thing.

Lack of android support is really disappointing especially when android has a good portion of the market share, and there are a lot of wide screen android devices (pad/note/phones with bigger screens).

They should just start working on a new deus ex game.

Interesting perspective. Feels like being punished for being a Deus Ex fan, though.

My personal take on it is: I'm a fan of the series but also a core gamer so even though I could get a newer Ipad from one of my friends for a few days I'll definitely pass on this one. I really can't imagine this coming even close to the experience that was Human Revolution, there're just too many limitations due to the platform and it already shows in the footage they've shown.

This is gonna be one of those games that doesn't exist, just like Deus Ex 2.

Only good news if those of us who already bought and paid for DXHR and Missing Link get this as a free update.

Well I guess the good news is, the WiiU version received a price cut, well actually they are all the same price, however still overpriced for an ancient game.

Nah, I already have the game long ago and finished it
but like synaesthetic said, I'm hoping that the director's cut are also released as a free update instead of having to buy a new disc / DL again. Somehow unlikely, though... due to the developer commentary thingy

So true, too bad there are few companies that would do that, only one I can think of is CD Projekt with Witcher 1/2 EE.
