I wouldn't be surprised if we get a reveal that Lord Rafflesia has a rather unpleasant agenda here, behind giving the cards to our female MC.

well alright i just watched this yet find bit hmm might check more.

give whole cards doing in this series does have remind of 3 kamen rider cards series aka ryuki, blade, & decade with also mix of power rangers megaforce.

& why do i got “hmm” i just might figure out who monocle guy real identity?

Liking this series so far. Almost couldn't tell if it was a late-night or daytime anime, though, lol. Middle schoolers and card games...however, it lacks the mainstream appeal to real little girls of something like Precure, I guess (the day when yuri service like that kiss in the ED can show up in actual daytime anime series...would be like a dream, lol).

The cast, with the dolls factored in, seems ridiculously huge. I wonder if Uzume will be able/want to make use of the other dolls she's captured in addition to her five mains. It sure seems like masters have dolls to spare if they can afford to leave entire platoons of a dozen something dolls and trap cards just for some random ambush where they might as well be abandoning them.

Sasara's attitude in ep. 2 seems contradictory to one of her lines in the PV ("Don't abandon me, master"); will be interesting to see how that comes up.

yet wonder card style story so far give summon & weapon/trap have bit mix of megaforce & ryuki.

yet how dolls also appear as mirror image like in ryuki give hmm wonder if end-up doing ryuki’s rider war only one survive left unless all safe show go megaforce route.

& wonder give how uzume & yellow like one of main focus give yellow has past probs?

can i say i might figure out who monocle guy is or unless pull a swerve on it?

Uzume's a quirky and neat little character. She seems slightly off to me, but that's oddly becoming part of her charm to me. She's kinda eccentric, but in a vaguely normal way. It's hard to put into words, lol.

I however do relate a great deal to Uzume's agreeable (arguably to a fault) nature. I know that when friends or co-workers come up to me, with hope in their voices, about wanting me to do something with them that I'd really rather not do, I have a hard time just saying "no, I'm not interested". Like Uzume, I try to find diplomatic language that doesn't fully commit myself but also doesn't completely let down the other person. Then I hope the other person forgets about it and/or I feel more up to it later.

So this particular aspect of Uzume's personality rings so very true to me. It's probably also why I sympathized more with Uzume than I did with Sasara in the big argument between the two of them (though I do give Sasara a lot of credit for how she made up with Uzume).

I do like how Fantasista Doll shows the practical downsides of a situation like this. Episode 2 was very clear in how these "Dolls" are being disruptive and problematic to Uzume's life. I could totally understand why Uzume wanted to give them back to their former master. That's saying something given how I usually find "magical girl that just wants to be normal" annoying.

There's a nice air of mystery to this show, and Uzume is a strong female lead. I'm looking forward to more.

He's more the "creepy stalker who kidnaps and does unmentionable things to her" type character than "love interest" type character.

Also, he's obviously her teacher. And he's obviously the guy who molested her slipped the cards into her bag on the train. None of that endears me to him.

all we need show proof have hair messed-up if had same voice or unless if twin lookalike?

I quite like the series so far. At first I didn't expect much, but the overall atmosphere really draws me in. It gives the vibe of old girly anime series like Cardcaptor Sakura etc. especially at the episode title scene + the ending. Even the story and characters are quite typical for its kind too. I felt like back to the 90s.

I agree, this show is soooo '90s. Sometimes while watching Fantasista Dolls I get confused as to whether it's actually 2013 or if I somehow got warped back in time to 1996.

This all describes me perfectly.

I'm a massive pushover. I did find the conflict over Uzume's easygoing nature interesting; that was deeper than anything I expected from this series, or at least this early on. This is a good, solid show.

This does feel like a throw back to the 90's in a good way.

The show is cute and I'm enjoying the interactions between all the girls. It looks like each of the girls are going to get an episode of their own to kind of shine.

This episode also highlighted how rough the dolls can have it if they end up with a bad Master. I can assume that Uzume's doll's previous Master was much like the one we met in this episode considering how reluctant they were to go back to that person.

A stalker/creeper vibe from Rafflesia? Yeah I don't feel that at all. He's really no different then Tuxedo Mask who showed up all the time for Sailor Moon and company, which he clearly is suppose to be channeling here. From the sounds of things he gave Uzume and Manai their cards. So how did crazy Master guy and the first chick we saw get theirs? From that organization Rafflesia mentioned? And what exactly does Rafflesia want, as he appeared to want to get into another room connected to the one the girls got into. I'm looking forward to having those questions answered.
