Capre Fulgur series on sale, you get chantelise, fortune summoners and recettear for £8.06, in the UK, not sure what the price is in the other regions, but it says 75% off, so 75% off from the usual price.

Ten oh two Wednesday. We arrived at Fort Friendship to see that changes had been made. We must investigate.

New Objective: Badger the witness
New Clue: Tattered flag and fallen sign
New P.O.I.: Cyl
Day 7 daily deals:
  • L.A. Noire Complete Edition
  • Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion
  • Total War Mega Pack
  • Thief franchise
  • Age of Empire Online Bundle
  • Stalker bundle
  • Carpe Fulgar series (Recetear, Chantelise, Fortune Summoners)
  • Super Meat Boy
  • Indie Bundle VII (Avadon, Zombie Driver, QUBE, Dungeons of Dredmor, Vessel)
Picked up the Unreal Deal Pack for USD9.99 in a flash sale yesterday (even though I already owned UT3), it's a good chance to see where the Unreal series came from, and definitely because I used to play quite a bit of UT99 and UT2004 (albeit non-competitively).

Most notably, quite a few games on flash sale almost seem to be "second-chance" sales, for anyone who missed out on the bigger discount the first time around.

I picked up L.A. Noire 3 weeks ago and Sonic Generations last week. Kind of interested in Carpe Fulgur but I'm hearing the control/key system is clumsy/hard to use. Is that the case?

Not sure about Recettear, but with the other two you can use a gamepad. Being doujin games, don't expect anything spectacular, still fun games to play and can be sometimes challenging.
http://hardcoregaming101.net has reviews on all three of them, worth a read if you are undecided.

Day 8:
  • Sniper Elite V2
  • Witcher 1 & 2
  • Krater
  • Fallout New Vegas
  • Amnesia: The Dark Descent
  • Alan Wake bundle
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • Gratuitous Battle Pack
  • Indie Bundle VIII (Wings of Prey, Demolition, Inc., Swords and Soldiers, HOARD, Sol Exodus)
Be sure to check within the game franchises for other deals that last the day. For example, Fallout 3 also has the same discount (75% off) as New Vegas.

Haven't been going "all out" nessecarily, but picked up quite a few titles over the course of the summer sale so far.

- Portal 2
- Star Wars Republic Commando
- Thief 1, 2, and Deadly Shadows
- Ys the oath in felghana
- F.E.A.R.
- Recettear: an item shop tale
- Brothers in Arms road to hill 30

So yeah been mostly sticking to the 3 dollar deals.

I caved and bought Assassin's Creed Revelations the other day. Ubisoft, can you make installation any more confusing?

I'm hoping for some new stuff on the last day. It's a little lol at how often they keep recycling a number of the deals.

This is probably the last day of the sale, so nab a bargain while you can!
Day 10:
  • Quantum Conundrum

  • Arma II: Combined Operations
  • Batman Arkham City
  • Torchlight
  • Evochron Mercenary

Ended up acquiring Age of Empires 3, Trine 2 and Anno 2070. Although Anno 2070 isn't working for me. After downloading it via Steam, putting UPlay on and registering with them, when I hit the Play button on Uplay for Anno 2070, I get an instant 'This program is not working' message every time...Anyone have an idea as to what might be causing that?

Aside from doing a verify game cache and updating your graphics card drivers, it's probably best to try and contact Ubisoft Support about it.

Last chance to grab a bargain!
Day 11 (Final Day):
  • Football Manager 2012
  • Bioshock Franchise
  • Jagged ALliance: Back in Action
  • Operation Flashpoint Franchise
  • SPAZ
  • Tom Clancy Pack
  • Double Fine Bundle
  • Bastion
  • Indie Bundle XI (Hydrophobia: Prophecy, ORION: Dino Beatdown, Star Ruler, Waveform, World of Goo)

Just snagged myself some Peggle and the Bioshock franchise.

A shame they don't have System Shock 2 on Steam.

Thank god the sale is almost over, I might not be able to afford all the deals otherwise . Some good stuff though. Had to remind myself what kinds of games I'm actually going to play and not just buying for the sake of good sales.

I got Batman AC for less than $11. In a winter Steam sale, I got Batman AA for less than $8. Altogether I got both games for less than $20.

Really wish Might and Magic Heroes VI would go on sale. At least I picked up a relatively similar game in King's Bounty: Armored Princess.

Not much left in the sale interesting me, just hoping ofr a few possible decreases on certain items before it is all over.

This is my first year with steam and thus my first summer sale and I'm surprised I haven't gone too overboard. All the games I bought I'm sure I'll get around to. Gotten almost 15 games at this point for less than 50 dollars.

In what might be one of the most insane deals on Steam at this very moment...
Whilst Skyrim & Max Payne 3 are 50% off for the next 6 hours (as of writing), the Saint's Row: The Third Collection (aka Franchise Pack, which includes all the DLC) is at a low, low price of USD9.79, which apparently translates to a whopping 91% discount than buying it all individually.
