Resolution question
I have an old PC dating back to 2000. Well, I have it hooked up to a WS LCD 1680 x 1050 monitor and I was just curious when I play a 720 x 400 resolution video(as my pc can't handle anything higher), would it be advantageous in terms of quality to reduce my monitor screensize to 800 x 600? Or would it still look the same?

I think it will look better if you leave your LCD monitor at native resolution (1680x1050) and have your PC scale the video up. At 800x600 your monitor will have to do the scaling and I'm pretty sure that won't look as good.
But you could just try and see which is best of course, no harm in messing with resolutions a bit. |
