The most recent one by Shaft. She looked noticeably older, and there was a small fanservice scene showing a bit of her breasts (just enough to tell they were fairly big). It's been a while, there may have been some artwork that made it more obvious too.

This looks okay, I am not a fan of the modern coloring. The designs are passable. IT just looks too vibrant for what the series is about.
But hey I was always here for the stories and if they can adapt that right I am happy. I just dont think we will have any unique cinematography or direction. |

I was expecting a muted palette imo.... I don't really know what to say just from that key visual. Would've liked more stylized art.
I just hope the staff understands the irony of Kino no tabi - "the world isn't beautiful, therefore it is." |

The official website has already shown the designs of all the major characters from the novel that will appear in the new anime: http://www.kinonotabi-anime.com/character/ The first adaptation mainly just focus on Kino and Hermes's journey, so the new anime must be focus on the journeys of other main characters too.

BTW. I like how Yuuki Aoi voiced Kino. It sounds very different from her previos seiyuu but fitting.
And it is not her regular "kuudere" voice (like she voiced Flemy and Kayo).

The site notes that the background music featured in the video is the anime's main theme music, composed by Yoshiaki Dewa (A Lull in the Sea, Flying Witch) The site is also hosting a 12-minute voice drama titled "Comike no Kuni" -Welcome to the Summer Wars!-" which features Kino, Hermes, Shizu, and Ti heading to the "Land of Comiket" (a parody of the real-life Comiket). Keiichi Sigsawa wrote the story, and Kouhaku Kuroboshi drew the illustrations. The 92nd Comiket (Comic Market) is taking place from Friday to Sunday. |
