I suppose this series ends up next to Petopetosan on my personal virtual shelf. Sweet story, too short, probably destined to be forgotten by most.

Loved it (though I never really was happy with the constant molesting of Kana, sorry just not very funny).

That, and it would be curious to see what new character we might have gotten out of it. I wonder if this event happened in the manga and if so if it resulted in a new character. As opposed to say a random mention about none of them passing.

Mahoraba is on my "one of the best shows i've ever seen" shelf, so Kanamemo isn't next to it just yet.

It's always a mistake to make recommendations, but I'm going to make the mistake again. I enjoyed the first ep of Seitokai no Ichizon in a way somewhat similar to the way I enjoyed Kanamemo. Just to warn you, however: serenade_beta was bored to tears by it, so your mileage may vary.

It's all available free on Crunchyroll. And elsewhere. Not forgotten. Certainly not by me. I was even interested to see j1m0ne give the ED a mention in her list of favorite anime theme songs of the year.

My mistake. I didn't realize you were specifically talking about the DVDs. I don't think Crunchy will do them. I see DVD eps 1-6 elsewhere in Castilian Spanish, but not in English.

But the Japanese DVD with eps 7-9 just came out this week, so there is yet time. Maybe even commercial English DVDs might come out someday (not holding breath).

I ended up just watching the raws. xD I wanted to see just how uncensored episode five would be compared with the broadcast version.

No, the DVD versions don't use the cat censor.

They also don't have more steam. There's steam, but not more than in the broadcast version. That doesn't even make sense, since the cat censors were so ridiculously large they obstructed anything the steam would have covered and some. There's steam, but it's only used to cover the spots you wouldn't expect to see in this type of anime. There's lots of uncovered bums and bouncing breasts though. And fondling.
